Description
A molded stem and leaf sit on top of this glass apple award, and the ridged rectangular base keeps it upright on a crowded desk instead of rolling like a plain fruit shape. Schools, districts and training teams give it to teachers, principals and mentors at the end of a term.
At a teacher appreciation breakfast, the 2 inch square etch area on the base holds a full name and a line of thanks, so the piece says who earned it rather than just carrying a district logo. Deep etching cuts a frosted white mark into the glass that stays readable under fluorescent light, which matters when the award sits on a classroom shelf for years. Retirement ceremonies and long service nights use the same piece with a date added. Volunteer and PTA thank you events work too, since one piece can be ordered on its own. Pick the green leaf when the gift goes to a science or environmental program, and the clear leaf when it needs to match an existing crystal award set on the same shelf.
Order it next to the red and green Beaufort crystal apple award when one department wants color and another wants clear glass, since both use the same apple shape and read as one program. The wider education awards category holds desk pieces and gifts for coaches, office staff and graduating students, so a whole year of recognition can come from one place.
Send the names you need etched and a free virtual proof comes back before any payment. Production takes 5 working days from your approval, and single pieces are accepted for one off ceremonies.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a glass apple award and who receives one?
A glass apple award is a molded glass fruit mounted on a solid base, given as a recognition gift in schools and training programs. The apple has long stood for teaching, so districts use it for teacher of the year, principal thanks and mentor recognition. Corporate learning teams use it for trainers and instructors.
How big is this glass apple award?
The glass apple award measures 6 inches by 3 inches overall, including the rectangular base. It sits on a classroom desk or a bookshelf without crowding it. The base is ridged across the front rather than flat and plain.
Can a glass apple award be personalized with a name and a message?
Yes, a glass apple award can be deep etched with a name, a title and a short message. The etch area on the base measures 2 inches by 2 inches, on one side in one location. Vector artwork gives the cleanest edge on small text.
What colors does the leaf come in?
The leaf on this glass award comes in clear or green, and the apple body stays colorless in both versions. Green suits science departments and environmental programs. Clear matches a set of other crystal awards on the same shelf.
How long does it take to produce a custom etched apple award?
A custom etched apple award takes 5 working days to produce after you approve the artwork proof. Shipping time is added after that. Share your ceremony date first and we will confirm the timeline before the order goes in.
What is the smallest quantity you can order?
One piece is the minimum for this glass apple award, so a single ceremony gift is fine. Larger quantities suit district wide programs where every school gets one. Each award is packed one to a carton.
How should a glass award be cleaned?
Clean a glass award with a soft cloth and a little warm water, then dry it fully. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which scratch polished glass and dull the etched area. Keep it out of the dishwasher.
What affects the cost of a custom glass apple award?
Cost on a custom glass apple award moves with the quantity ordered, the amount of etched detail and the one time artwork setup. Higher counts bring the unit figure down. Send a quantity and your ceremony date for an exact quote.
Which school events suit an apple shaped award?
Apple shaped awards suit teacher appreciation week, end of year assemblies, retirement ceremonies, PTA volunteer thanks and new teacher welcome events. Districts also use them at board meetings for staff milestones. Corporate training teams hand them to instructors at the close of a workshop series.
