Custom globe and sphere awards give a worldwide result a shape people recognize on sight. This category lists 92 styles, from a small etched paperweight that lives on a desk to a tall crystal column that anchors a banquet table.
The shapes buyers compare
Pillar and tower styles lift the globe on a base. The Optical Crystal Globe Award on a Waisted Aluminum Pillar is listed at 3" x 7.5" x 2.625" in its smallest size and 5" x 12.25" x 4" in its largest, so one design covers three award tiers. Rotating styles spin the globe inside a base, as the Rotating Globe Crystal Award on Cube Base, 3.625"-9" with Etched Continents does across five sizes. Orb styles set a sphere inside a solid block, arch, or teardrop of crystal. Plaque styles work differently: the World Globe Perpetual Plaque With Twelve Engraving Inserts carries twelve inserts rather than one winner's name.
Materials and sizes
Optical crystal is the material behind most of the range. Starfire crystal is the next most common, used on its own and paired with optical crystal, and a smaller group uses glass, cast metal, aluminum, rosewood, marble and stone, or a piano finish laminate. Sizes run from roughly 3 inches to 18 inches. At the small end, the Crystal Globe Paperweight with Frosted Continents measures 3.125" x 3" x 3.125" and reads as a desk gift rather than a trophy.
Ordering notes
Sphere and globe awards suit programs where the story is reach: an international sales result, a partner network, a milestone that spans offices. Because individual styles often publish three or four heights, buyers order one design in two sizes and hand the taller one to the top winner. Colors listed on specific styles include clear, amber, green, blue, black, red, light blue, and white, several with gold or silver accents. For a matching desk piece, the Custom Paperweight and Crystal Awards categories sit alongside this one. Open shapes sit in crystal bowl awards.
