Description
The Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base is a starfire crystal helix award. A spiral of hand-blown glass sits on an optical or ebony base. Companies and universities choose it for milestone recognition and executive gifts.
The spiral shape twists upward, catching light differently at every angle as a viewer walks past. Because each piece is hand-blown, the curve and color depth vary slightly from one helix to the next. Color options include clear, red, yellow or a mixed-tone finish. A buyer can match the piece to a program or a trophy case. The base comes in optical or ebony, letting a buyer pick a lighter or a darker look. Companies, universities and civic groups award it for executive recognition, milestone anniversaries and retirement send-offs. It displays well on a shelf, credenza or awards case as a marker of the honor. Deep etch personalization sits on the base, leaving the spiral form untouched above it. The three sizes let a buyer scale from a compact desk piece to a larger centerpiece. Buyers wanting a rounder, globe-style form instead of a spiral should look at the Global Achievement Award. That piece takes a world-globe shape rather than a twisting helix. Shoppers browsing the wider glass awards category will find this piece among the more sculptural, colorful options.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base designed for?
Companies, universities and civic groups buy this starfire crystal helix award to mark an executive milestone. It works well as a stand-alone honor rather than a matched set. Since each piece is individually hand-blown, it reads as a distinctive, one-off gift.
How does a starfire crystal helix award compare with a globe-shaped achievement award?
A starfire crystal helix award rises in a tight spiral that catches light at every turn. A rounder design, such as the Global Achievement Award, uses a world-globe shape instead. Buyers pick the helix for a dynamic, twisting look and the globe for a classic, rounded one.
What sizes does the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base come in?
The starfire crystal helix award comes in three sizes. The smallest measures 3.25 inches by 7.5 inches by 2.5 inches. The largest measures 4.5 inches by 12 inches by 3.5 inches. Each size ships as a single piece rather than a set.
How does light move through a starfire crystal helix award?
Light enters the crystal glass of this starfire crystal helix award and bends around its spiral curves. Each colored version handles that light differently, from the clarity of a clear piece to the richer glow of red or yellow glass. Because each piece is hand-blown, no two helix awards look exactly the same up close.
Where is the personalization located on the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base?
The base of this starfire crystal helix award carries the personalization, not the spiral above it. That etched panel runs from 2.25 by 1 inch on the smallest size up to 3.125 by 1.375 inches on the largest. It suits a name, a title or a short line of text.
What is the minimum order for the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base?
The minimum order for this starfire crystal helix award is one piece. A buyer can order a single award for one honoree. That minimum applies to every size and base choice.
How long does production take on the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base?
Production takes 5 business days for every size of this starfire crystal helix award. We do not offer a rush option for this piece. Plan the order date around that lead time before a scheduled presentation.
What events use a starfire crystal helix award like this one?
Executive recognition dinners, retirement send-offs and milestone anniversary events commonly use a starfire crystal helix award like this one. Civic groups and universities also give it as a stand-alone achievement gift. Because the base takes a name or logo, it adapts to a single honoree.
What affects the price of the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base?
Size is the main pricing factor for this starfire crystal helix award. The largest version uses more glass and crystal than the smallest. We also weigh the extent of base personalization requested.
How should the Glass and Starfire Crystal Helix Award on Optical or Ebony Base be displayed and cleaned?
Keep this starfire crystal helix award out of direct sunlight and away from a shelf edge. Wipe the glass and crystal with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Handle it by the base rather than the spiral, since glass can chip.
