A photo plaque carries an image rather than engraved text alone, which suits team photographs, project sites, sponsor recognition and anything where the picture is the point. The image is printed in full color, so multi-color logos and photographs both work.
Printed images, not engraving
These items are sublimated, meaning the image is heat-fused into a coated surface rather than cut into it. That is what allows full color and photographic detail, which engraving cannot produce. The Black Frame Full-Color Sublimated Photo Plaque and the Sublimated Plaques 8" x 6" are both made this way.
Sizes and boards
The Fairfield range is offered in three sizes on rosewood: small at 9" x 7", medium at 10" x 8" and large at 12" x 9", each 0.75" thick with a full-color plate. Aluminum-plate versions are also stocked where you want a lighter, more modern face.
Slide-in photo windows
The Team Sponsor Photo Plaque takes a printed photograph that slides into a window, so the image can be swapped later. That suits an annual team or sponsor board where the names change but the plaque stays.
Artwork
Send the highest resolution image you have. A photograph that looks acceptable on screen can print soft at plaque size, so we will tell you if the file will not hold up before anything is produced, and you approve a proof either way.
