Genuine Granite Wall Plaque with Attached Photo Plate

A granite wall plaque with a sublimated plate is a recognition award built from a cut piece of natural stone with a printed panel fixed to its face. The stone forms the body and backing, while the sublimated plate carries all of the artwork. Because the stone is quarried rather than moulded, the veining pattern differs on every piece.

Granite and glass awards decorate in different ways: granite carries a full colour sublimated print, while glass and acrylic are usually etched into a single frosted tone. Granite is opaque and reads clearly against any wall colour, whereas a clear award depends on the background behind it. Weight is the other difference, since stone at the same size is heavier than acrylic and needs a fixing that can carry it.

The granite wall plaque comes in 4" x 8", 5" x 10" and 6" x 12". All three share the same 1:2 proportion, so one artwork layout scales between sizes without a redraw. The 6" x 12" reads from across a lobby, while the 4" x 8" works on a desk or in a grouped set of matching awards.

The body is genuine quarried granite, listed in the material spec as marble and stone, not a resin or laminate imitation. Natural stone means colour depth and veining vary slightly from piece to piece, so no two plaques match exactly. Stone also weighs more than wood or resin at the same size, so mount it on a stud or an anchor rated for the load.

Yes, the attached plate is decorated by sublimation, which reproduces photographs, gradients, crests and text in full colour. Sublimation lays every colour in one pass, so a multi colour logo needs no extra decoration step or separate screens. The granite body itself stays undecorated, so the stone frames the printed panel.

You can order a single granite wall plaque, and every unit in a larger order can carry a different name, date or photo. Sublimation prints each plate from its own file, so a run of 20 different recipients is handled the same way as 20 identical plates. Send the name list alongside the artwork and we match each plate to its recipient.

Production takes 5 working days from artwork approval. The clock starts at approval rather than at the order date, so proofing and any artwork revisions add to the total. Transit time is separate again, so place the order at least 2 weeks before a ceremony date.

Granite plaques are ordered most often for donor recognition, building dedications, employee of the year awards, sports club honour boards, church and nonprofit tributes, and safety record milestones. Wall mounted stone suits permanent displays where the award stays in place for years rather than sitting on a desk. Buyers ordering a set often assign one size to each award tier.

Wipe the granite and the plate with a soft damp cloth, then dry it straight away. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powder and any ammonia or solvent based cleaner, as these dull the printed surface. Keep the plaque out of long direct sunlight, since sustained UV exposure fades printed colour over time.

Per unit pricing depends on the size chosen, the order quantity and the shipping destination, and we quote current tier pricing on request. All three sizes use the same sublimation process, so a full colour photo prints at the same rate as a single line of text. Quantity moves the per unit figure most, because artwork setup is spread across the whole run.
