Description
The SpectraPrint™ Plaque (Cove Edge Gold) is a walnut cove edge plaque with a gold print plate. A full-color digital print sits on the gold plate for photos, logos and seals. Sizes run from 7 by 9 inches to 10.5 by 13 inches. Corporate recognition programs and retirement gifts both use this style.
This gold plate reproduces photographs and multi-color logos instead of a single engraved tone. A nonprofit crest or a team photo comes through in true color. The cove edge curves around the walnut base and catches light along its border. That curved reveal adds a tailored shadow line when the plaque hangs or stands on a shelf. Sales teams and volunteer groups use the SpectraPrint™ Plaque (Cove Edge Gold) for employee-of-the-month awards. Annual appreciation dinners and hallway recognition displays suit it too. Choosing a larger size gives a lengthy citation more room to read. The printed area is matched to each plaque so artwork fills the plate cleanly. Buyers wanting a darker backdrop can compare the ebony finish plaque instead. This piece sits within our wood plaques collection of presentation styles.
Plan the presentation around this cove-edged plaque and let the gold plate carry your team's story in full color.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a walnut cove edge plaque used for?
A walnut cove edge plaque works well as a recognition award for employees, volunteers or board members. The curved edge and gold-plate imprint give it a formal, presentation-ready look. Many buyers choose it for milestone anniversaries or community service honors.
How does a cove edge plaque compare with an ebony finish plaque?
The walnut cove edge plaque uses a curved wood border and a warm walnut tone, while the ebony finish plaque swaps that base for a black finish. Buyers who want a lighter, traditional wood look tend to pick the walnut version. Those wanting a darker, formal backdrop often choose ebony instead.
What decoration options and sizes are available for a walnut cove edge plaque?
A walnut cove edge plaque uses VividPrint full-color digital printing on its gold plate. The printed area scales with the plaque, from 5 x 7 inches up to 8.5 x 11 inches. Plaque sizes range from 7 x 9 inches to 10.5 x 13 inches, so the artwork always fits the plate.
Which events and recognition programs use a walnut cove edge plaque?
Corporate recognition programs, employee tenure milestones and donor galas all use a walnut cove edge plaque. Nonprofits and membership groups present it for board recognition or community service awards. The gold-plate imprint area holds a photo, a crest or several lines of text.
What affects the price of a walnut cove edge plaque?
Plaque size is the main driver of price for a walnut cove edge plaque, since larger sizes use more material and printing area. Order quantity and turnaround speed can also change the total. We factor in the VividPrint imprint area when quoting a job.
How long does production take and is there a minimum order?
A walnut cove edge plaque ships in 5 to 7 business days after art approval. We accept orders starting at a single plaque, so one honoree can get a plaque without a group purchase. This makes it practical for a single retirement or promotion gift.
