Description
The Jade Or Clear Glass Octagon Award With A Mitered Base is a faceted glass trophy sized for desks and shelves. It ships in Jade or Clear glass and suits sales recognition, service milestones and annual banquets. Companies choose it when a bright, geometric shape needs to carry a name and a date.
Each facet of the octagon bends light differently, so the piece throws small flashes of color across a desk or shelf whenever it catches a window or a spotlight. The mitered base adds a flat, stable foot that keeps the octagon upright without a separate stand, which matters for shipping and for setup at a banquet table. Deep Etch decoration cuts the recipient's name, logo or message directly into the glass on the front facet, giving the award a permanent record that will not fade or peel like a printed label. Buyers pick the six inch size for team awards and the eight inch size for a leadership or retirement piece, since the three sizes scale the same shape up without changing its proportions. For a rounder, more organic look in the same jade glass family, the Iceberg Oil Drop Award offers a melted, freeform silhouette instead of the octagon's straight edges. This award belongs to the Jade Glass Awards line PPI curates for buyers who want colored glass over clear crystal. Order the Jade Or Clear Glass Octagon Award With A Mitered Base when a recognition program calls for a shape that reads as modern rather than traditional.
Ask for a proof to see how your logo catches the light on this octagon's mitered base.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the jade glass octagon award used for?
The jade glass octagon award recognizes achievement at banquets, sales meetings and service milestone ceremonies. Its faceted shape and mitered base let it stand alone on a desk or shelf after presentation. Companies choose it when they want a modern geometric alternative to a flat plaque.
How does this jade glass octagon award compare to the Iceberg Oil Drop Award?
The jade glass octagon award has a geometric, faceted shape with straight edges and a mitered base. The Iceberg Oil Drop Award uses a freeform, melted silhouette in the same jade glass family. Buyers pick the octagon for a structured look and the iceberg shape for a softer, organic one.
What decoration options and sizes does the jade glass octagon award offer?
The jade glass octagon award is decorated using Deep Etch, which cuts text and logos directly into the glass. It comes in three sizes, from 6" x 6.375" x 2.5" up to 8" x 8.375" x 2.5". Buyers select a size based on the award tier they are recognizing.
Which events and programs suit the jade glass octagon award?
The jade glass octagon award fits annual banquets, retirement send-offs and employee-of-the-year programs. It also works for sales incentive trips and volunteer recognition dinners. Its mitered base keeps it stable on presentation tables and shelves alike.
What affects the price of a jade glass octagon award?
The jade glass octagon award's cost depends on the size chosen, since the piece is offered in three dimensions. Color choice between Jade and Clear glass and the amount of Deep Etch artwork can also factor in. We recommend requesting a quote for exact pricing based on quantity and artwork.
How long does it take to receive a jade glass octagon award order?
The jade glass octagon award moves through production once artwork is approved by the buyer. We ask buyers to submit their design early when working toward a fixed ceremony date. Turnaround depends on how quickly artwork approval is finalized.
