What size is a jade glass octagon award?

The jade glass octagon award measures 7 inches by 7 inches across the panel. It stands in a base of the same glass, so the pairing is not a mixed material build. One size is offered in this shape.

How are the edges of a jade glass octagon award finished?

The jade glass octagon award has every one of its eight edges chipped into rough facets, with the front face left polished. The base carries the same chipped treatment along its front edge. That contrast between rough rim and smooth face is the whole point of the design.

Where does the engraving sit on a jade glass octagon award?

The jade glass octagon award is deep etched on the polished front face, within an area of 5 by 5 inches. That is enough room for a logo, a recipient name and a short citation at readable size. Send us vector artwork so the etch holds thin strokes cleanly.

Which programmes use an eight sided glass piece like this?

The jade glass octagon award suits safety milestone programmes, board service recognition, retirement lunches and season awards at a sports club. The shape is calm enough for a corporate lobby and formal enough for a retirement gift. Manufacturing plants in particular reach for it when marking an injury free run.

What makes the cost of an order move?

The jade glass octagon award is priced by quantity, the size of the etched area and how many positions are decorated. Setup work is charged once and reused when the same artwork comes back for a second run. Ask us for a written quote before committing to a count.

Does the award need assembly when it arrives?

The jade glass octagon award arrives with the panel already seated in its base and needs no tools. Keep the packing foam if the piece has to travel to a second event. A soft cloth is all the cleaning it wants.

How long does production take and how is it packed?

The jade glass octagon award takes five working days of production from artwork approval, then transit time. Each piece travels one to a carton with foam on the chipped edges, which are the parts most likely to catch. Give us the ceremony date and the run can be planned back from it.

Description

A jade glass octagon award is one flat panel with eight sides, its face polished smooth and every edge chipped into rough facets. Committee chairs, retiring trustees and safety milestone teams receive it at quarterly meetings and service dinners, where the chipped rim catches light along all eight edges.

The panel measures 7 inches by 7 inches and stands in a matching glass base whose front edge is chipped in the same way, so the two pieces read as one object rather than a plaque bolted to a stand. Deep etching covers 5 by 5 inches on the polished face, which is room for a mark, a name and two or three lines of citation without shrinking the type. Manufacturing plants mark injury free milestones with it, credit unions use it for board service, municipal departments hand it over at retirement lunches, and sports clubs use it for a season most valuable player. Each piece is packed one to a carton, so a single winner can be shipped without a bulk order.

A buyer who wants the gift to stay in daily use often looks at the moreland clock and card holder instead, since a desk clock earns its space every morning while an octagon earns it once. Across the jade glass awards range this is the shape that suits a long citation, because eight straight edges frame a square etch better than a curved outline does, and the base gives the piece a low centre of gravity.

Send the citation text and ask for an etch proof before the run starts; production takes five working days after you approve it, and the chipped edges are done by hand on every piece.
