Description
Black Marble and Botticino Desk Clock - Darwin pairs black marble with Botticino stone in a compact 4.5 inch desk clock. Companies choose it for retirement gifts, service milestones and executive recognition. Its two-tone stone body gives it a settled, dignified look suited to an office desk or a bookshelf.
The contrasting stones set this piece apart from plain single-tone clocks. Black marble forms a dark base while the Botticino panel carries a lighter, veined face, so the clock reads as a small sculptural object rather than a timepiece alone. Buyers can choose either a black or white finish depending on the room or brand palette it needs to match. Deep etch decoration cuts a name, date or company mark directly into the stone face, giving the recognition a permanent look that will not rub off with handling. Because the clock ships in a single 4.5 inch size, ordering stays simple for HR teams handling group gifts for anniversaries or long service awards. Buyers who want a taller, more dramatic trophy piece for a sales milestone might instead look at the Shooting Star Award, which trades the desk clock format for an upright celestial shape. This clock suits desks in corporate offices, retirement send-offs and client appreciation gifts where a small keepsake carries lasting weight. For teams building a broader recognition program, the marble plaques and awards line offers matching pieces in the same stone family.
Mark a colleague's send-off with the Black Marble and Botticino Desk Clock - Darwin on their desk.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the black marble desk clock used for?
The black marble desk clock functions as a keepsake gift for retirement, service anniversaries and executive recognition. Its stone body and compact 4.5 inch size suit a desk or shelf display. Companies choose it when they want a physical memento rather than a paper certificate.
How does the black marble desk clock compare to a crystal award?
The black marble desk clock relies on natural stone rather than cast glass, giving it a matte, grounded appearance. A crystal award typically catches and refracts light, while this piece offers a quieter, two-tone look from its black marble and Botticino combination. Buyers wanting a brighter, more reflective piece may prefer a crystal option instead.
What decoration options are available on the black marble desk clock and where is it placed?
The black marble desk clock is personalized using deep etch decoration cut into the stone face. This method places names, dates or logos directly on the Botticino panel of the 4.5 inch clock. No other decoration method is offered for this piece.
Which occasions and programs suit the black marble desk clock?
The black marble desk clock fits retirement send-offs, long service anniversaries and client appreciation programs. Its stone construction gives it a formal tone appropriate for executive gifting. HR teams also use it for milestone recognition events.
What factors affect the price of the black marble desk clock?
Pricing for the black marble desk clock depends on order quantity, the deep etch artwork complexity and turnaround needs. The single available size and color choice of black or white keep specification simple. Contact us for a quote tailored to your order details.
How long does production take for the black marble desk clock and is there a minimum order?
The black marble desk clock ships five working days after artwork approval. We accept orders starting at a minimum quantity of one. Rush timing questions should be directed to our order team before artwork is finalized.
