Description
Black Marble and Botticino Desk Clock - Gormley pairs black marble with cream Botticino stone. The piece measures 4.5 inches across as a black marble desk clock for a desk or shelf. Teams choose it for retirement gifts, team milestones and other stone recognition awards.
Black marble forms the base of this piece. A lighter Botticino marble trim frames the clock face. The dark and light stones create contrast that makes an etched design easier to read. Corporate offices and sales departments present this clock as a team gift. It marks years of service, project completions and department wins. A deep etch panel measures 2.25 inches by 0.5 inches. It holds a name or short message cut into the stone. Buyers who need a nameplate rather than a clock have another option. The Marble Triangular Custom Nameplate - 1 Colorfill Included offers a similar etched surface among marble plaques and awards.

Imprint area — will your logo fit?
Deep EtchThe imprint area on this product is 2-1/4 inches wide by 1/2 inch tall, printed by deep etch. Your artwork prints inside the dashed area below — nothing outside it prints. Products often look larger in a photo than the space you can actually print on.

What happens after you order, and when.
You order. Your card is authorised, not charged. Nothing is billed until you approve the proof, and you can change or cancel the order up to that point.
Free visual proof. We email a proof showing your logo on the product, usually within one business day. Revisions are unlimited and free. The production clock does not start until you say yes.
Production. Counted in business days from proof approval, not from the order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped. If your date is tight, tell us up front and we will work backwards from it.
Delivered. Enter a destination ZIP in the order card to get live carrier rates and a delivery date. We will not guess one.
Business days only, counted from proof approval. The clock starts when you say yes, not when you order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a black marble desk clock typically used for?
A black marble desk clock like this one recognizes an individual employee rather than a full department at once. Recipients typically keep it on a personal desk instead of a shared trophy case. Many buyers select it for a single retiree or an executive receiving one keepsake award.
How does this black marble desk clock compare with a marble nameplate plaque?
This black marble desk clock includes a working clock movement that a flat marble nameplate plaque does not have. The nameplate instead offers a larger flat surface for a longer engraved message. Choose the clock for a functional gift and the nameplate for a display-only wall or desk plaque.
What size is this black marble desk clock?
This black marble desk clock measures 4.5 inches, the only size offered for this design. Because there is a single size, every order arrives with identical proportions. The compact footprint fits a standard office desk without crowding nearby items.
How does the Botticino marble accent change the look of this clock?
This black marble desk clock pairs a dark polished base with a lighter Botticino marble accent for visual contrast. Botticino marble carries a warmer, cream tone next to the darker black stone.
Which decoration method is available on this black marble desk clock?
This black marble desk clock uses deep etch decoration to cut a design into the stone. The etched area measures 2.25 inches by 0.5 inches, sized for a name or short line of text. Deep etching creates a permanent mark that will not wear off with handling.
What is the minimum order quantity for this black marble desk clock?
We set the minimum order for this black marble desk clock at one unit. A single unit works for one retiring team member or one milestone honoree. Offices ordering for a full department can request a larger quantity at once.
How long does production take for this black marble desk clock?
Production for this black marble desk clock takes 5 business days before it ships. We do not have rush production listed for this piece. Ask ahead if your presentation date falls sooner than that window.
Do nonprofit organizations or schools order this marble desk clock for recognition?
This black marble desk clock has no industry restriction listed in its record. Any organization giving an individual recognition award can use this two-tone marble design. It suits a business office setting as easily as an academic or nonprofit office.
What affects the price of this black marble desk clock?
Order quantity, etch complexity and turnaround speed all affect the price of this black marble desk clock. Ordering more units generally lowers the cost per piece, while a faster turnaround can raise it. Ask for a quote to get an exact cost for your order.
How should someone care for and display this marble desk clock?
Someone should wipe this black marble desk clock with a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratching the polished stone. Keep it away from harsh cleaners, since they can dull the marble finish over time. Display it on a flat desk or shelf where the etched name stays visible.
