Description
A bamboo cube award is a solid block of pale gold bamboo with laminated grain stripes running through it, engraved dark brown on the front face and standing without any base at all. Managers, chapter leads and conference organisers hand it over when a small object has to feel deliberate.
Team of the month runs, safety streaks, volunteer thanks and green initiative milestones fit the format, and the shape works on a crowded desk where a tall trophy would be knocked over. Three sizes are cut, 2 inches, 3 inches and 4 inches on every edge, so a whole department can receive the small one while a leader gets the large. Laser engraving recesses the text into the surface and includes one colour fill, at 1.5 by 1.5 inches on the small cube and 3.5 by 3.5 inches on the large. A second position can be engraved on an adjacent face, which is how a date, a chapter name or a sponsor mark stays off the main face without crowding it.
A buyer marking a career rather than a quarter usually looks at the marine swords shadow box instead, a wall piece with room for insignia and a long service story behind glass. The cube suits many recipients at once; the shadow box suits one person and one wall. Both live in the wood awards and trophies range, which keeps a programme consistent in material from the first year to the last.
Send the wording and PPI will return a proof showing the engraving squared up on the face, with the second position mapped if you want one, and the piece leaves in five working days from approval.

Imprint area — will your logo fit?
Laser Engraving · On CubeThe imprint area on this product is 1-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/2 inches tall (On Cube), printed by laser engraving. Your artwork prints inside the dashed area below — nothing outside it prints. Products often look larger in a photo than the space you can actually print on.

What happens after you order, and when.
You order. Your card is authorised, not charged. Nothing is billed until you approve the proof, and you can change or cancel the order up to that point.
Free visual proof. We email a proof showing your logo on the product, usually within one business day. Revisions are unlimited and free. The production clock does not start until you say yes.
Production. Counted in business days from proof approval, not from the order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped. If your date is tight, tell us up front and we will work backwards from it.
Delivered. Enter a destination ZIP in the order card to get live carrier rates and a delivery date. We will not guess one.
Business days only, counted from proof approval. The clock starts when you say yes, not when you order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the bamboo cube award made from?
The bamboo cube award is a solid block of bamboo with no veneer or hollow centre. Laminated strips give it the striped grain visible on every side. Nothing is added to the piece, no base, no plate and no fixings.
How is the bamboo cube award decorated?
The bamboo cube award is laser engraved into the surface, which leaves a recessed dark brown mark. One colourfill is included with that engraving. Full colour printing is the alternative when a logo needs its own palette.
What sizes does the bamboo cube award come in?
The bamboo cube award comes in three sizes, 2 inches, 3 inches and 4 inches on each edge. Every face is square, so the same artwork fits whichever side is chosen. The smallest sits comfortably beside a keyboard.
Can more than one side be engraved?
The bamboo cube award allows a second engraving position on an adjacent face. A date, a chapter name or a sponsor mark usually goes there. That second position is optional, and many orders use the front face only.
How large is the engraving area on each size?
The bamboo cube award takes a laser area of 1.5 by 1.5 inches on the 2 inch size. The 3 inch size allows 2.5 by 2.5 inches and the 4 inch size 3.5 by 3.5 inches. Printed areas run slightly larger, up to the full face.
How soon can an order be produced?
The bamboo cube award is produced in five working days from artwork approval. Counting starts at proof sign off rather than at the moment an order arrives. Delivery time is added on top of those five days.
Is one piece enough for an order?
The bamboo cube award can be bought one piece at a time. A single volunteer thank you is as workable as a run for a whole shift. Quantity, size and decoration method are what move the unit price.
Why choose a cube instead of a tall trophy?
The bamboo cube award holds its own on a desk that has no room for height. Nothing tips over, and the shape reads as an object rather than a prize on a stem. Recipients tend to keep it in view instead of in a drawer.
