Description
The Bamboo/Finch Plaque is a bamboo wood plaque topped with a black metal engraving plate. It ships in three sizes, from 7 inches by 9 inches to 9 inches by 12 inches. Sustainability-minded companies choose it for employee recognition, sales achievements and service milestones. The natural bamboo grain gives every award a distinct look.
Bamboo is a fast-growing, renewable material, which gives this plaque a lower environmental footprint than traditional hardwood. The black metal plate contrasts with the tan bamboo body, so an engraved name stands out clearly. Laser engraving cuts into that plate, from 4 inches by 6 inches up to 6 inches by 9 inches. That space fits a name, a short title and a brief line of recognition text. Companies use the Bamboo/Finch Plaque for Earth Day events, corporate sustainability programs and employee recognition. Its eco-friendly bamboo construction also suits green-minded corporate gifting and conference giveaways. Buyers who want engraving cut into the bamboo, without a metal plate, should look at the Bamboo Engraved Plaque. That option is part of our wood plaques selection and skips the metal plate entirely. Every plaque leaves production in five business days, packed in its own box for a scheduled presentation.
Celebrate a sustainability win on natural bamboo and black metal, and ask for a proof before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a bamboo wood plaque and who typically buys the Bamboo/Finch design?
A bamboo wood plaque like the Bamboo/Finch combines a natural bamboo base with a black engraving plate. Companies choose it for employee recognition, sales achievement, and service milestone awards. Its eco-friendly material also suits organizations that want a sustainable option for corporate gifting.
How does a bamboo wood plaque compare with the Bamboo Engraved Plaque?
A bamboo wood plaque such as the Bamboo/Finch pairs solid bamboo with a separate black metal plate for the engraving. The Bamboo Engraved Plaque instead lets the laser mark the bamboo surface directly, without a metal insert. Buyers who want a plate contrast pick the Bamboo/Finch, while those wanting a single-material look choose the engraved version.
Which engraving area sizes are available across the bamboo wood plaque sizes?
A bamboo wood plaque uses laser engraving on its center plate, with the marked area growing from 4 inches by 6 inches on the smallest plaque to 6 inches by 9 inches on the largest. The three plaque sizes run from 7 inches by 9 inches up to 9 inches by 12 inches, each 0.75 inches thick. Buyers match the plate size to their logo or message length.
Which corporate events suit a bamboo award like the Bamboo/Finch Plaque?
The Bamboo/Finch Plaque suits corporate events such as employee recognition dinners, leadership ceremonies, and retirement send-offs. Its eco-friendly bamboo also fits Earth Day programs and sustainability initiatives. Service anniversary and sales achievement programs use it as a desk or wall piece.
What affects the price of a custom bamboo wood plaque order?
A bamboo wood plaque costs more as the size increases, with dimensions running from 7 inches by 9 inches up to 9 inches by 12 inches. We also account for the shipping weight, which grows from 1.15 pounds to 1.65 pounds by size. The quantity ordered factors in as well, since a single unit can be purchased.
Does the Bamboo/Finch Plaque have a minimum order quantity or standard production time?
The Bamboo/Finch Plaque has no minimum order, so a single piece can be purchased. Production takes 5 business days before the order ships. Planners with a fixed event date should build that turnaround into their schedule.
