Description
Upright Wedge Acrylic Embedment Award for Medallions gives teams a way to preserve a medallion, badge, pin or other keepsake inside clear acrylic. Companies choose this piece for retirement gifts, service milestones and recognition ceremonies where the object itself carries meaning. It suits recipients who want the item kept safe rather than tucked in a drawer.
The wedge shape angles forward so the embedded medallion sits at eye level, letting the recipient view the object rather than search for it in a box. Clear acrylic surrounds the item on all sides, so light passes through and the coin, pin or badge appears to float inside the block. Laser engraving adds a name, date or short message to the acrylic itself, placed on the front face beneath or beside the embedded piece. Because staff must confirm the item is suitable before it is sealed inside, buyers should reach out early in the planning stage rather than at the last minute. Recognition committees, alumni groups and public safety departments use this style when the honor centers on a physical token rather than on text alone. For a desk gift built around timekeeping instead of embedding, the gyroscopic clock with an ebony base offers a moving dial and a wood accent. Buyers shopping the wider selection of acrylic awards can compare shapes before settling on the wedge profile.
Send us the medallion details and let the Upright Wedge Acrylic Embedment Award for Medallions turn that keepsake into a standing tribute.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an acrylic embedment award and who typically orders one?
An acrylic embedment award seals a medallion, badge, pin or keepsake inside a block of clear acrylic. Organizations order it when the physical object itself, not just a printed name, carries the meaning of the honor. It gives a coin or pin a permanent stand instead of a drawer.
How does an acrylic embedment award differ from a standard crystal award?
An acrylic embedment award encases a real object inside the block, while a crystal award only carries engraved text or artwork. Buyers pick the embedment style when the item being honored is a coin, badge or pin rather than a message. A crystal piece suits programs built around text alone.
What decoration and size options come with the acrylic embedment award?
The acrylic embedment award uses laser engraving on the front acrylic face near the embedded object. It ships in two sizes, 3 inches by 4 inches by 1.875 inches and 4 inches by 4 inches by 1.875 inches. Both sizes stand upright without needing a separate base.
Which programs and industries commonly choose an acrylic embedment award?
An acrylic embedment award fits programs where coins, pins or badges mark achievement, such as public safety departments and alumni groups. Long-service and retirement honors also favor this style because the recipient's own token stays visible. Both single honorees and larger group orders can use the same design.
What factors influence the price of an acrylic embedment award?
Pricing on an acrylic embedment award depends on the size selected and the complexity of the object being embedded. Engraving length and total quantity also change the final cost. We suggest reaching out to customer service before ordering so the item can be confirmed as suitable.
Is confirmation required before placing an order for an acrylic embedment award?
An acrylic embedment award requires a check with customer service before the object goes into production. This step confirms the medallion, pin or badge can be embedded safely in the acrylic. We recommend starting this conversation early so the five working day turnaround is not delayed.
