Description
The Full Color Open Book Crystal Award turns a milestone into a keepsake shaped like an open book, cast in clear optical crystal. Publishers, librarians, literary societies and school programs choose it for writers, educators and readers who deserve recognition tied to the written word.
The standout feature is VividPrint decoration, which reproduces a logo, portrait or certificate text in full color across the open page, so a recipient sees a detailed image rather than a plain etched line. Deep Etch remains available for a crisp, single tone mark on the crystal spine or cover for buyers who prefer that classic look. The clear finish lets light pass through the block and catch the etched or printed page, giving the award a bright presence on a shelf or desk. Sizes run from 3 inches by 4 inches by 1.25 inches up to 4.5 inches by 6 inches by 1.25 inches, so a library can order a compact piece for a monthly honor and a larger one for an annual literary prize. Buyers who want a simpler geometric look without the book shape might instead consider the Freestanding Acrylic Block Award, which offers a plain block form for logo or photo display. Shoppers browsing Crystal Awards for a literary theme will find this book pairs well with author events, retirement gifts for teachers, and employee recognition tied to publishing. Order the Full Color Open Book Crystal Award when the occasion calls for a design that speaks directly to a love of reading.
Open a new chapter for your next honoree and get pricing on this book shaped keepsake.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the optical crystal book award and who typically receives one?
The optical crystal book award recognizes achievement in reading, writing and publishing through its distinct book form. Publishers, librarians and literary societies present it to writers, educators and dedicated readers. Schools also use it for retirement gifts and annual literary prizes.
How does the optical crystal book award compare with a plain crystal block award?
The optical crystal book award carries a literary shape that signals reading and writing achievement at first glance. A plain block award offers a simpler geometric form better suited to general logo or photo display. Buyers wanting that alternative look often choose the Freestanding Acrylic Block Award instead.
Which decoration methods and sizes are available for the optical crystal book award?
The optical crystal book award can be decorated with Deep Etch for a single tone engraving or VividPrint for full color artwork across the page. It comes in three sizes, from 3 inches by 4 inches by 1.25 inches up to 4.5 inches by 6 inches by 1.25 inches. Buyers choose the location and size based on how much detail their design needs.
What events and programs suit the optical crystal book award?
The optical crystal book award fits author events, publishing industry ceremonies and teacher retirement gifts. Libraries also use it for monthly or annual reader recognition programs. Schools present it to graduating students in writing or literature tracks.
What factors affect the price of the optical crystal book award?
The optical crystal book award price depends on the size chosen and whether Deep Etch or VividPrint decoration is applied. Order quantity also plays a role since larger runs can change per unit costs. We recommend requesting a quote for an exact figure based on your specifications.
How quickly can we receive the optical crystal book award after approving artwork?
The optical crystal book award ships five working days after artwork approval. We accept a minimum order of one unit, so single award orders are easy to place. Buyers planning a ceremony should submit artwork early to keep this timeline on track.
