Description
The Beechwood Diamond Award is a solid wood plaque cut in a diamond silhouette, made from natural beechwood grain. It suits retirement gifts, sales milestones and years-of-service programs. Available in three sizes from 4.75 inches by 6.25 inches up to 5.5 inches by 7.75 inches, it gives buyers a range to match the occasion.
The standout feature is the 1.375 inch thickness, which gives the piece real heft on a desk or shelf and signals lasting recognition to the recipient. The warm grain of the beechwood catches light differently than painted acrylic pieces, so the finish reads natural rather than glossy. Laser engraving marks names and emblems with fine detail, while VividPrint lays down full color artwork for detailed seals or multi color branding, both suited to the diamond's open center panel. Award dinners, retirement send offs and community honor nights all use this shape because the diamond form stands apart from the usual rectangle plaque. Buyers who want a brighter, more colorful centerpiece instead of natural wood grain should look at the Flat-Edged Acrylic Star on a Front-Mitered Base, which trades the wood tones for a faceted acrylic star on its own base. Anyone building out a full trophy case can browse the wider wood awards selection for matching pieces in the same beechwood finish. The Beechwood Diamond Award works equally well engraved with a single name or printed with a full color emblem for a department or team.
Give the diamond shape its moment and start your order in beechwood today.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Beechwood Diamond Award and who is it made for?
The Beechwood Diamond Award is a solid wood plaque shaped like a diamond, cut from natural beechwood. It suits recognition programs such as retirement gifts and years-of-service milestones. Companies choose it when they want a warmer, more natural alternative to glass or acrylic awards.
How does the Beechwood Diamond Award compare to an acrylic star award?
The Beechwood Diamond Award uses natural wood grain instead of the clear faceted look of an acrylic star. Wood tones give a warmer, more traditional feel while acrylic pieces read brighter and more modern. Buyers choosing between the two often decide based on whether their office decor leans toward natural materials or glass and acrylic accents.
What decoration options and sizes does the Beechwood Diamond Award offer?
The Beechwood Diamond Award comes in laser engraving and VividPrint decoration on its wood face. Laser engraving marks the surface while VividPrint adds full color artwork. Sizes range from 4.75 inches by 6.25 inches up to 5.5 inches by 7.75 inches, each at 1.375 inches thick.
Which events and programs commonly use the Beechwood Diamond Award?
The Beechwood Diamond Award fits company banquets, staff send offs and volunteer appreciation gatherings. Its diamond shape helps it stand out on a stage or awards table next to standard rectangular plaques. Sales teams and service organizations often use it for milestone recognition.
What factors affect the price of a Beechwood Diamond Award order?
The Beechwood Diamond Award price depends on the size selected and the decoration method chosen, whether laser engraving or VividPrint. Order quantity also plays a role since larger runs can shift per unit costs. We recommend requesting a quote once the size and artwork are finalized.
How long does production take and is there a minimum order for the Beechwood Diamond Award?
The Beechwood Diamond Award has a minimum order of one, so single pieces are available for individual honorees. Production takes five working days from artwork approval. We suggest submitting artwork early to keep an award ceremony on schedule.
