A perpetual plaque stays on the wall and gains a new engraved plate each time it is awarded. It suits employee of the month, annual sales winners, safety records, presidents of an association and any recognition that repeats on a schedule.
How a perpetual plaque works
The board carries a header with the award title and your logo, then a grid of smaller plates below it. Each recipient gets one plate, engraved with a name and a date, added as the award is given. The Antique Eagle Perpetual Plaque with Twelve Engraving Plates is built for a full year of monthly awards.
Fixed and magnetic plates
Plates attach in two ways, and it changes how easy the plaque is to maintain. Fixed plates are screwed or pinned in place. Magnetic plates lift off and reposition without tools, as on the Acrylic Perpetual Plaque with Magnetically Attached Brass Plates. Magnetic suits an award that is updated by whoever runs the programme rather than returned to a supplier.
Boards and emblems
Boards in this range include American walnut in rolled-edge and high-gloss finishes, and rosewood piano finish. Several carry a cast emblem above the plate grid, such as the American Walnut Perpetual Plaque with Raised Shield Emblem and the Cast Metal Star Perpetual Plaque on American Walnut.
Ordering the plates
Order the board once, then order plates as you need them. Tell us the award title and how many recipients you expect a year, and we will recommend a board with room for that grid. You approve a free proof of the header before anything is engraved.
Ordering
Board sizes, plate counts and production time are on each product page. Ask us for a quote for the board and your first run of plates.
