Description
The Optical Crystal Award with Bottom-Tapered Beveled Edges is a solid optical crystal award with a tapered base. Recognition committees choose it for achievement and performance awards. Three sizes range from 3.625 inches by 6.5 inches to 5.375 inches by 9.75 inches.
The Optical Crystal Award with Bottom-Tapered Beveled Edges tapers inward at its base. The taper directs light down through the crystal so the piece appears to glow from underneath. Buyers can choose warm tones such as Amber and Red. Cool options include Sky Blue, Blue and Green, plus neutral Black, White and Clear. Sales departments and athletic programs use it for top-performer and championship honors. Deep etch engraving on the back of the award cuts a permanent design into the crystal. VividPrint adds a full color image to the same spot for logos that need color. Buyers wanting a metal accent can see the Cast Metal Star on a Black Optical Base, Gold or Silver. Compare the full crystal awards selection to see which cut fits your event. The three-size range lets buyers scale the honor from a department award to a company-wide tribute.
Watch how the tapered base bends light toward your message, and see your logo on it before the ceremony.

Imprint area — will your logo fit?
Deep Etch · Back of AwardThe imprint area on this product is 2-5/8 inches wide by 4-5/8 inches tall (Back of Award), printed by deep etch. Your artwork prints inside the dashed area below — nothing outside it prints. Products often look larger in a photo than the space you can actually print on.

You order. Your card is authorised, not charged. Nothing is billed until you approve the proof, and you can change or cancel the order up to that point.
Free visual proof. We email a proof showing your logo on the product, usually within one business day. Revisions are unlimited and free. The production clock does not start until you say yes.
Production. Counted in business days from proof approval, not from the order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped. If your date is tight, tell us up front and we will work backwards from it.
Delivered. Enter a destination ZIP in the order card to get live carrier rates and a delivery date. We will not guess one.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Optical Crystal Award with Bottom-Tapered Beveled Edges used for?
The Optical Crystal Award with Bottom-Tapered Beveled Edges recognizes achievement in corporate and athletic programs. Its tapered base sets it apart from flat-bottomed crystal pieces on a desk or shelf. Recognition committees favor it for annual honors and milestone awards.
How does this optical crystal award compare with the star-on-base crystal award?
The optical crystal award relies on a solid tapered crystal form rather than a separate metal accent piece. The Cast Metal Star on a Black Optical Base pairs a metal star with a crystal base for a different look. Buyers choosing between the two should consider whether they want an all-crystal piece or a mixed-material design.
What decoration options and sizes does the optical crystal award offer?
The optical crystal award supports deep etch and VividPrint decoration on the back surface. Deep etch areas range from 2.625 inches by 4.625 inches up to 4.25 inches by 7.25 inches, while VividPrint areas run from 2 inches by 4 inches up to 4.25 inches by 7.25 inches. The award itself is available in three sizes from 3.625 inches by 6.5 inches up to 5.375 inches by 9.75 inches.
Which events and programs suit the optical crystal award?
The optical crystal award fits sales recognition banquets, athletic championships and employee milestone ceremonies. Its color range lets planners match the piece to team or brand identity for the occasion. Organizations often order it annually for recurring recognition programs.
What affects the price of the optical crystal award?
The optical crystal award price depends on the size chosen and the imprint method applied. Color selection and order quantity also factor into the final cost. We can provide a detailed quote once these specifications are confirmed.
Can a buyer order just one optical crystal award and how fast does it ship?
The optical crystal award can be ordered with a minimum quantity of one piece, suiting single recipient purchases. We complete production in five working days after artwork approval. This turnaround applies across all three sizes and every available color.
