Description
Optical Crystal Award Shaped like a Rounded App Icon mirrors the rounded-square outline of a mobile app icon. It renders that shape in clear optical crystal for developers, project managers and designers. This optical crystal award marks an app launch and comes in five sizes from 3 to 7 inches square.
The rounded-square shape sets this piece apart from the rectangular blocks common in crystal awards. It echoes the icon grid on a phone screen for a tech team's shelf. Optical crystal stays clear through its full thickness. Etched artwork reads from the front without a colored tint working against it. Software launches, hackathon finals and product-of-the-year ceremonies use this shape often. The piece doubles as a shelf trophy long after the event ends. Deep Etch frosts a permanent design into the crystal. VividPrint™ reproduces full-color app icons or screenshots on the same face instead. The five sizes let a studio scale the gift from a small keepsake to an all-hands stage piece. Buyers who want a warmer, mixed-material look can consider the Sandstone Circle Award with Inset Brushed Aluminum instead. Both belong to the same crystal awards lineup for teams building a technology recognition program.
Mark your team's next app launch with the Optical Crystal Award Shaped like a Rounded App Icon and ask for a proof before the release party.

Imprint area — will your logo fit?
Deep EtchThe imprint area on this product is 2-1/2 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches tall, printed by deep etch. Your artwork prints inside the dashed area below — nothing outside it prints. Products often look larger in a photo than the space you can actually print on.

Production schedule
What happens after you order, and when.
You order. Your card is authorised, not charged. Nothing is billed until you approve the proof, and you can change or cancel the order up to that point.
Free visual proof. We email a proof showing your logo on the product, usually within one business day. Revisions are unlimited and free. The production clock does not start until you say yes.
Production. Counted in business days from proof approval, not from the order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped. If your date is tight, tell us up front and we will work backwards from it.
Delivered. Enter a destination ZIP in the order card to get live carrier rates and a delivery date. We will not guess one.
Business days only, counted from proof approval. The clock starts when you say yes, not when you order. Weekends and US federal holidays are skipped.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an optical crystal award shaped like an app icon used for?
An optical crystal award shaped like a rounded app icon suits software launches and product milestones. Engineering managers and product leads give it to developers, designers and project managers who ship a release. The rounded-square shape doubles as a nod to the mobile interface the team builds.
How does this optical crystal award differ from a traditional rectangular crystal block?
An optical crystal award in this rounded-square style trades sharp corners for a soft, icon-like outline. A traditional rectangular block keeps hard edges and a uniform slab shape throughout. Buyers who want a rounder, tech-forward look choose this shape. Buyers who want a classic desk trophy choose the rectangular block instead.
What sizes does the optical crystal award come in?
The optical crystal award ships in five square sizes. Sizes range from 3 by 3 inches up to 7 by 7 inches. Thickness grows with each size, from 1 inch on the smallest piece to 1.75 inches on the largest. Buyers pick a size based on desk space or stage visibility.
How clear is the optical crystal used for this award?
The optical crystal award stays colorless under normal light instead of taking on a tint. Light passes through the block and highlights any etched lines from multiple angles. Buyers get that same clarity in every size, from the smallest to the largest.
What decoration methods are offered for the optical crystal award and how large is the design area?
The optical crystal award offers Deep Etch and VividPrint™ decoration on every size. Deep Etch areas grow from 2.5 by 2.5 inches to 6.5 by 6.5 inches across the five sizes. VividPrint™ areas match the crystal's own footprint instead, covering nearly the full face.
Is there a minimum order requirement for the optical crystal award?
The optical crystal award has a minimum order of one unit for every size. A single team can order one piece for a specific developer or designer. Studios ordering for a larger launch event can request more than one piece at the same minimum.
How long does it take to produce the optical crystal award?
Production on the optical crystal award takes 5 business days for any of the five sizes. Buyers should plan shipping time on top of that window for an app launch date. The record lists no rush option, so the standard schedule applies to every order.
Which teams and programs typically order the optical crystal award?
Software companies and product teams order the optical crystal award for release milestones. Hackathon organizers use it as a finalist or winner prize at the closing ceremony. Internal recognition programs also give it to a developer of the month or a top project lead.
What factors influence the price of the optical crystal award?
Size is the main driver of cost for the optical crystal award. The largest piece uses far more crystal than the smallest. The decoration method also matters, because Deep Etch and VividPrint™ involve different processes. Order quantity across the five sizes can shift the total for a bulk team order.
How should the optical crystal award be displayed and cared for?
The optical crystal award should sit on a stable shelf or desk away from the edge. A soft, dry or slightly damp cloth removes dust without scratching the polished face. Direct sunlight for long periods can dull the crystal's shine over time. An indoor display away from a window works best.
