Description
The Frosted Hand-Blown Glass and Rosewood Fish Award pairs a frosted glass fish figure with a rosewood base that stands 7.5 inches tall. This frosted glass fish award works well for sales recognition programs, nautical banquets, and retirement gifts. Recognition committees pick it for a recipient who wants a sculptural keepsake rather than a flat plaque.
Each fish sculpture is hand blown from frosted glass, so light diffuses across the curves instead of flashing off a sharp edge, and no two pieces come out exactly alike. The rosewood base grounds the piece and gives it a warm, tactile contrast to the cool glass above. Recognition teams like the animal form because it reads as an award without looking like every other tombstone plaque on a shelf. Deep etch decoration goes on the base, so a company name, event title, or recipient name sits below the sculpture rather than across the glass itself. Sales award programs, conservation and wildlife fundraisers, and long-service milestones all use this piece when the honoree has a personal tie to the sea or to angling. Buyers who want a smaller desk clock instead of a standing sculpture can look at the jade glass clock with a bevelled curved top, which suits a workspace better than a shelf display. Order the Frosted Hand-Blown Glass and Rosewood Fish Award when the occasion calls for a glass award instead of a wood or metal one.
Ask for a proof of the etched rosewood base before your next awards banquet.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a frosted glass fish award used for?
A frosted glass fish award recognizes a specific achievement, such as a sales milestone, retirement, or community honor. It suits organizations that want a sculptural trophy instead of a flat plaque. Anyone drawn to nature-inspired or animal-shaped awards is a fitting recipient.
How does a hand-blown glass fish award compare with a flat crystal plaque?
A frosted glass fish award gives a three-dimensional presence that a flat crystal plaque cannot match on a shelf. The rosewood base adds a warm material contrast that a plaque does not offer. Buyers who prefer a slim profile for a bookshelf often pick a flat plaque instead.
What size is the frosted glass fish award available in?
The frosted glass fish award comes in one size, standing 7.5 inches tall on its rosewood base. Because each piece is hand blown, exact measurements vary slightly from piece to piece. No other size option is offered for this design.
How does the frosted glass finish affect the way light looks on this fish award?
A frosted glass fish award has a matte glass texture instead of the high polish typical of clear crystal pieces. Buyers who prefer a clearer look can request the clear glass color option instead of frosted. Blue, yellow, and two-tone glass are also available on this same fish design.
Which decoration methods are available for this frosted glass fish award and where do they go?
A frosted glass fish award uses deep etch decoration on the rosewood base only, not on the glass figure. The etched area measures 3.5 inches by 1 inch, sized for a company name, logo, or short message. This keeps the sculpture itself undecorated so light passes through the glass cleanly.
Is there a minimum order for the frosted glass fish award?
The minimum order for a frosted glass fish award is one piece. Buyers can order a single trophy for one recipient or scale up for a full award program. This makes it suitable for a one-off retirement gift as well as a multi-recipient ceremony.
How long does production take for a frosted glass fish award and is rush service available?
Production for a frosted glass fish award takes 5 business days before it ships. The record does not list a rush or expedited option for this piece. Plan your order around this standard turnaround for an awards ceremony date.
What events or industries typically order the frosted glass fish award?
A frosted glass fish award works well for outdoor and recreational organizations such as fishing clubs and yacht associations. It also appears in corporate award ceremonies unrelated to any water theme, chosen simply for its sculptural look. The rosewood base gives it a more traditional feel than an all-glass trophy.
What affects the price of a frosted glass fish award?
Several factors affect the price of a frosted glass fish award, including order quantity and the etched design. The deep etch on the rosewood base can vary in complexity, from a simple name to a full logo. We factor glass color choice and packaging into the final quote.
How should a frosted glass fish award be cleaned and displayed?
A frosted glass fish award should be dusted with a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratching the matte surface. Keep it away from direct heat sources that could stress the glass over time. Display it on a stable shelf or desk where the rosewood base sits flat.
