What are custom academic achievement medals and what does the front show?

The custom academic achievement medals are zinc medals with a stock book and lamp front and an engraved back. The front design is fixed, so you only choose the wording for the back.

What size is the academic achievement medal and how big is the engraving area?

The academic achievement medal measures 2 inches across from edge to edge. The engraved area on the back is the same 2 inches in diameter, so there is room for a short line or a small logo.

What is the academic achievement medal made of and what color does it come in?

The academic achievement medal is made from zinc and comes in brass. Brass is the only color option.

How do I customize custom academic achievement medals with my own wording?

The custom academic achievement medals are customized by engraving the back, which is the imprint method for this medal. The front keeps its stock design. Send us the text or logo you want on the back and the quantity you need.

What is the minimum order for custom academic achievement medals?

The minimum order for custom academic achievement medals is 20 medals. Each medal comes in its own polybag, so an order of 20 arrives as 20 separate bags.

How long does an order of academic achievement medals take to produce?

The standard lead time for the academic achievement medal is 7 business days. Give us your event date when you order so we can plan around it.

What affects the price of custom academic achievement medals?

The price of custom academic achievement medals depends on the quantity, the engraving, setup and any add-ons such as a ribbon. Standard pricing includes the blank medal, and an extra decal location on the back is charged separately.

Can the academic achievement medal be ordered with a ribbon attached?

Yes, the academic achievement medal can take a ribbon attachment in 1 1/2 inch or 7/8 inch widths. Ribbon is an add-on, so it is priced apart from the medal.

How much does a shipment of academic achievement medals weigh?

A shipment of the academic achievement medal is estimated at 28 pounds per 160 units, packed in a carton about 12 by 9 by 6 inches. Actual weights and carton sizes vary with the order.

Description

A stock book and lamp front marks these custom academic achievement medals as a reward for study, and the back is laser engraved with your school name, logo or the student's name. Teachers, principals and honor society advisers use them to recognize effort in a way a certificate cannot.

Use them for school awards night, where each honor roll student walks across the stage and receives a medal that has their name and grade laser engraved on the back. The book and lamp medals suit a spelling bee, a science fair or a reading challenge, since the front symbol already says learning. A teacher can keep a bag of them for end-of-term recognition, and the individual polybags keep each medal clean in a desk drawer. For graduation week, add the class year and your school name to the back so families keep it. The medal is made from zinc and measures 2 inches across, so it fits a student's hand comfortably. Print the class year on the back and each family gets a keepsake.

Pair it with the Marble with Cast Medallion when you want to thank a teacher, mentor or guest speaker with a companion piece beside the student awards. Bulk orders suit larger classes too, since the minimum order is 20 and the standard lead time is 7 business days. See Coins & Medallions for more stock fronts if you also reward athletics.

Send your school name, the wording for the back and the count you need, and we will email a free virtual proof for your sign-off. Share your awards night date and we will confirm the in-hands date.
