Description
These custom music medals pair a stock music front with a zinc body and a back left open for laser engraved names, so a recital or competition win comes with an award a student can keep. Measuring 2 1/4 inches across, they suit school bands, choirs, orchestras, music academies, recital series and festival programs.
Music teachers hand out a lot of recognition in a year, from chair placement to solo festival results. Award programs are the natural fit: your director can have the year, the ensemble or the student name laser engraved on the back and present the medal at the spring concert. Bulk orders work for a whole section, because the minimum is 25 and each medal comes individually polybagged, so it is ready to hand over on the night. Pull the winners' medals from the box in order and the ceremony stays on schedule. Competition hosts can award engraved music medals to every placing, and the brass colour gives each placing the same finish. Your logo on the back credits your school or studio.
Pair the medals with the Marble with Cast Medallion for the retiring teacher or the festival chair, so your students get a medal and the adult behind the program gets a medallion. Putting them on one table makes the presentation feel planned. Each award gets its own job on the night. Browse our coins and medallions for more awards, and ask about zinc music medals for the other ensembles in your school.
Send us your school or studio name and logo, and we will email a free virtual proof of the laser engraved back with an exact quote. Production takes 7 business days once you approve it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are custom music medals and what do they look like?

Can I put a team name or logo on the back of custom music medals?
Yes, the back of this music medal can be engraved, and the engraved area is 2.25 inches in diameter. Engraving is the decoration option for these medals, so your wording or logo goes on the back while the front stays a stock design.
What ribbon widths can I choose for the music medal?
Ribbon attachments for the music medal come in 7/8 inch and 1 1/2 inch widths. Ribbons are an additional charge on top of the medal price.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom music medals?
The minimum order for custom music medals is 25 pieces. That is the smallest quantity we can quote for this medal.
How long does production take for these medals?
Standard production for this music medal is 7 business days. Plan your award date around that lead time and tell us the date when you ask for a quote.
What affects the price of custom music medals?
The price of custom music medals depends on the order quantity, the engraving on the back and any ribbon attachment you add. Standard pricing includes the blank medal with its stock front. Send us your quantity and we will quote it.
How are these medals packed and where are they made?
Each music medal comes individually polybagged and is made in China. Shipping estimates are 20 pounds per 300 units in a 12 by 9 by 6 inch carton, and actual order weights can vary.
