What holds the crystal peak award upright?

The crystal peak award is held upright by small blocks of colored crystal that grip the bottom front corner of the panel. Nothing is glued, and the assembly needs no separate flat base underneath. The blocks are the only colored part of the piece.

How heavy is the crystal peak award?

The crystal peak award weighs about 0.36 pounds complete, which is light for a glass recognition piece. That makes it practical to send in quantity for a program that runs every quarter. The piece still reads as glass in the hand rather than acrylic.

Which colors do the blocks on a peak award come in?

The crystal peak award has its supporting blocks in blue, amber, green, black, or red. The panel itself is always clear with a faint green cast along the cut edges. A department can match the blocks to a brand color while keeping the glass neutral.

How big is the etching area on the crystal peak award?

The crystal peak award offers a square etch window of 2.5, 3, or 3.5 inches, growing with the panel size. VividPrint can instead cover the whole back of the panel in full color. We place the design inside the chosen area and send a proof.

What sizes does the crystal peak award come in?

The crystal peak award is made in three sizes of 4 by 5.75, 4.5 by 6.5, and 5 by 7.25 inches. The curved point keeps the same proportion as the panel grows. Only the panel and blocks scale, not the outline.

When would a committee choose a crystal peak award?

The crystal peak award suits quarterly recognition, branch of the year programs, nonprofit board thanks, and school achievement nights. Its size and weight make it workable for handing out to many people rather than one. The curved point still gives it a sense of a target reached.

How much does a crystal peak award cost to order?

The crystal peak award is costed from the size, the quantity in the run, the block color, the decoration method, and any artwork setup. Bigger runs bring the unit figure down, and a full color print behaves differently from an etch. Send the details and we will put a written quote together.

Description

A crystal peak award rises to a tall curved point, edged with a narrow bevel and held upright between two small blocks of colored crystal that grip its bottom front corner. Team leads reach for it when one person or one crew cleared a target that had stood unbeaten for several years.

Quarterly recognition, branch of the year programs, nonprofit board thanks, and school achievement nights all fit, because the piece is small and light enough to hand out in quantity yet still reads as glass rather than plastic. Three sizes measure four by five and three quarter, four and a half by six and a half, and five by seven and a quarter inches, and the whole assembly weighs only about a third of a pound, so a box of twenty is easy to carry to a venue. The colored blocks come in blue, amber, green, black, or red, and the panel above keeps a faint green tint along its cut edges. Deep etch fills a square window, while VividPrint covers the whole back panel.

Anyone comparing this against something with more mass usually opens the Custom Sphere Globe, another piece in the Crystal Awards range but a very different object. The sphere is heavy and meant for one recipient a year, while this panel is light and sized for a program that recognizes people every quarter. A committee running both tiers gets a clear step up between them without changing suppliers or artwork.

Choose the block color, send over names and a logo file, and PPI will send back an etch proof to approve before the five working day production window opens.
