Veterans Day gifts are thank-you items carrying your logo, emblem or unit name that employers, veterans organizations and clubs give to the people who served. Below are veteran gifts for November 11: challenge coins, dog tags, engraved plaques and awards, tumblers and boxed gift sets, each decorated for your group.
Veterans Day gift ideas that honor military service
Challenge coins and dog tags come first because both carry weight in military culture. The zinc challenge coin is die cast at 1 3/4 inches, takes 4 colors on one side and can carry a second design on the back. A full-color metal coin in gold or silver suits a post or club crest. The anodized aluminum dog tag hangs on a 24 inch beaded chain and can be laser engraved front and back with a name, service branch or "Thank you for your service." See more bulk challenge coins.
Plaques and awards fit a Veterans Day ceremony. The military plaque sets a blue and gold marble-design plate on a black piano finish board and arrives in a gift box. The eagle bust award mounts on a walnut base with an engraved plate, and the crystal flag award stands 7 inches tall on a bamboo or rosewood base. Browse promotional award plaques for more engraved keepsake options.
Veterans Day gifts for employees and veteran staff
For veteran recognition at work, an HR team or employee resource group usually picks one personalized item for every veteran on staff. The camo tumbler keeps drinks hot or cold for up to 6 hours. The whiskey gift set packs two 15 oz stainless tumblers and whiskey stones in a custom gift box. A debossed leather key fob, an embroidered military-style cap or an enamel tie clip is a smaller gift for veterans that still gets used every day. On a tighter budget, military appreciation can be as simple as a pen printed with a Thank You design, an American flag key tag made in the USA, or a sugar cookie topped with red, white and blue nonpareils and your label.
