How does a plantable bookmark with a tear-off end work?

Seeds are attached to the bottom section with dissolvable glue. Readers cut off that end, place it in good soil and add water, and the glue and paper dissolve as the seeds grow. The printed part of the bookmark stays in their book.

What can I grow from the plantable bookmark?

The tear-off end holds the seed variety you choose: cosmos, forget-me-not, marigold, money plant, sunflower, zinnia, basil, chives, cilantro or dill. Flowers suit garden and spring themes, and herbs suit kitchen themes. Each variety has a 125-piece minimum.

Who gives out plantable bookmarks?

The samples show a college enrollment ad, a credit union anniversary and an employee giving campaign. Libraries and nonprofits also hand them out as reading incentives at book fairs, summer reading programs and donor thank-yous.

Why is the tear-off bookmark an eco-friendly giveaway?

The seeded end is planted instead of thrown away, and the printed planting hints say the glue and paper dissolve. Each bookmark also ships in its own sleeve of EarthFirst PLA film made with Ingeo polymer. The listing carries a Made in USA mark.

How much branding space does the plantable bookmark offer?

The full-color imprint area is 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" on one side, so a logo, a photo and a short message fit above the seeded end. Full-color printing reproduces gradients and photos. Approve a free visual proof before printing.

Does the tear-off bookmark come individually packaged?

Yes. Each bookmark comes in its own sleeve of EarthFirst PLA film made with Ingeo polymer, which keeps it clean for handouts. The sleeve also makes it easy to mail the bookmark or drop it into a welcome kit.

When should readers plant the seeded end?

Plant it during the local growing season, when there is warm soil and daylight. Spring and early summer handouts line up with planting time, while a fall handout can wait in the book until spring. The printed bookmark can be used year-round.

Description

This tear-off plantable bookmark carries your full-color message above a seeded lower end that readers cut off and plant, then they keep the rest in their book. Colleges, credit unions, libraries and nonprofits use it for enrollment drives, anniversaries, employee giving campaigns and donor thank-yous.

Seeds are attached to the bottom section with dissolvable glue. The printed planting hints tell readers to cut off the seeded end, place it in good soil and add water, and that the glue and paper dissolve. Seed choices are cosmos, forget-me-not, marigold, money plant, sunflower, zinnia, basil, chives, cilantro and dill, with a 125-piece minimum per variety. The bookmark measures 2-1/4" x 7-3/4", with a 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" full-color imprint area on one side. Each piece comes in its own sleeve of EarthFirst PLA film made with Ingeo polymer. Libraries use plantable seed bookmarks as reading incentives during a summer reading program, and a giving campaign can print a thank-you line above the seeds. The samples show a zinnia, a money plant and a forget-me-not above their seed ends.

Pair it with seed paper promotional products for an eco giveaway table at a book fair or Earth Day. Compared with a seed paper bookmark with a wildflower cutout, this one gives you a named flower or herb and packs each piece in a sleeve as standard. That makes it one of the easier eco friendly bookmarks to drop into an envelope or a welcome kit.

Send your logo, seed choice and quantity for a free, no-obligation quote. A free visual proof comes with every order, and bulk quotation is available for library systems, colleges and credit unions.
