How does a plantable card with a seed paper shape work?

Your message prints in full color on recycled card stock, and a seeded paper shape is attached to the card. Recipients plant the shape in soil and add water and sun, and it grows wildflowers or herbs. The printed card can stay on a desk or fridge.

What can you grow from the seeded paper shape?

The embedded seeds grow into wildflowers or herbs depending on the seed mix, so recipients get flowers for a garden or herbs for a kitchen. Planting is simple and works in a pot or an outdoor bed. The growing plant reinforces a green or growth-themed campaign long after the card arrives.

What campaigns suit a plantable card?

Spring and Earth Day promotions, nonprofit appeals, real estate mailers, grand openings and any grow-your-business message fit well. The shape gives the recipient something to do with the card, and the full-color face carries your offer.

Is the plantable card eco-friendly?

The card prints on recycled card stock, and the attached seeded paper shape can be planted to grow wildflowers or herbs. That gives a green campaign a physical piece that matches its message.

What shape and paper colors can I choose?

Pick from over 59 seeded paper shapes, such as a flower pot, a trowel or a tulip. Each shape comes in 13 paper colors, including brown, lavender, royal blue, terra cotta and yellow. Match the shape and color to your brand or season.

How should I prepare artwork for the plantable card?

Design for the full 4" x 5" face and supply a high-resolution, print-ready file, leaving space where the seeded shape sits. Photos, brand colors and a call to action all print in full color. Approve a free visual proof before printing.

Description

This plantable card prints your message in full color on one side of recycled card stock and carries an attached seeded paper shape that grows wildflowers or herbs. Businesses, nonprofits and real estate teams mail it or hand it out as a leave-behind that ends up in a garden.

The card measures 4" x 5", and the full-color imprint area covers the whole face. The seeded shape comes in over 59 cutouts, such as a flower pot, a trowel, a tulip or a watering can, and in 13 paper colors. The sample shows a flower pot shape under the line help grow yours, with a printed note to plant the seeded wildflower shape and add water and sun. That kind of growth line is one of the easier real estate marketing ideas to put in the mail, whether for a new listing or a client thank-you. For Earth Day giveaways, wildflower seed cards send an eco message home with each guest. White mailing envelopes are available, so the card can travel sealed through the mail.

Pair it with Earth Day promotional products for a spring mailing or a booth giveaway. Compared with the seed paper postcard, which is seeded all the way through, this plantable card keeps a smooth printed face and puts the seeds in one shape, which suits eco friendly direct mail and direct mail marketing. Choose the postcard when you want the whole card to be planted. Both carry a Made in USA mark.

Send your artwork, shape and quantity for a free, no-obligation quote. A free visual proof comes with every order, and bulk quotation is available for large mailings and multi-office campaigns.
