How do seed paper shapes grow?

The shape is paper with seeds pressed into it. Plant the whole shape in soil and keep it moist, and the seeds sprout as the paper breaks down. The card in each packet prints planting instructions on the back. Growth depends on light, water and season.

What seeds are in the seed paper?

Two paper types are offered: wildflower seed paper in a range of colors and a mixed herb seed paper. Confirm the current seed mix for your paper choice when you request a quote.

Is the seed paper packet compostable?

The seed paper is planted, and the sleeve is made from PLA film sold as a compostable wrap. The printed message card is paper. Together, the packet adds no conventional plastic wrapper to your handout.

Which events suit seed paper favors?

Earth Day fairs, weddings, memorials, donor thank-yous, school events and trade shows with a green theme are common fits. Pick a shape that matches the event, such as a heart for a wedding or a graduation cap for a commencement.

How much room is there for a logo on the seed paper packet?

The message card prints in full color in one location on a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" packet. That holds a logo and a short line of text. Send vector artwork for the sharpest result.

How should recipients store the seed paper before planting?

Keep the packet dry and away from heat until planting day, since moisture can start the seeds early. The sleeve keeps the shape and card together until then.

Is the seed paper packet made in the USA?

Yes, the listing carries a Made in USA mark. Buyers who prefer US-made giveaways for public or school programs can note that on their order records.

Description

These seed paper shapes come as a small packet: one plantable shape and a full-color message card, packed together in a compostable sleeve. Businesses, schools and nonprofits hand them out at Earth Day events and trade shows, and event planners order them as seed paper favors for weddings and galas.

The packet measures 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", so it fits a favor box, a gift bag or a mailer. Your logo and message print in full color on one side of the card, and planting instructions print on the reverse. The shape is the part that grows. Pick from the standard die-cut shapes, such as a tree, tooth, house, paw, graduation cap, watering can or heart. Seed paper hearts suit a wedding or a donor thank-you, while a tooth or a house ties the packet to a dental office or a real estate open house. Wildflower paper comes in a range of colors, and a mixed herb paper is also offered. Recipients plant the shape in soil and keep it moist, and seedlings push up through the plantable paper.

For a larger direct-mail piece, the seed paper shape mailer card attaches a shape to a full postcard. This packet stays small enough for a favor box at each place setting. Heart shaped seed paper and other plantable seed paper favors also sit well on a table of Earth Day promotional products at a campus or company fair. Each design needs at least 125 packets, so one run covers a mid-size event.

Send your logo, shape choice and quantity for a free, no-obligation quote. A free visual proof shows the printed card before production starts, and bulk quotation is available for large event runs.
