How does a seed paper bookmark work?

The bookmark is a full-color printed card with a small seeded paper shape attached. Readers keep the bookmark in their book and plant the shape, which grows wildflowers. A printed line at the foot of the bookmark reminds them to add water and sun.

Which shapes and paper colors can I choose for the seed paper bookmark?

You can pick from over 59 seeded paper shapes, such as an apple, an airplane, a tulip or a watering can. Each shape comes in 13 paper colors, from white and yellow to royal blue and terra cotta. Choose one that ties to your message or logo colors.

How do readers plant the seed paper shape?

They remove the shape from the bookmark, place it on soil and follow the printed line: add water and sun. Keeping the soil damp while the wildflower seeds sprout gives the best start. The printed bookmark stays in the book.

Is the seed paper bookmark a good fit for library and school programs?

Yes. It works as a reading incentive at book fairs, library card drives and summer reading programs, and the plantable shape ties the handout to Earth Day or a garden theme. Pick a shape that matches the event, such as an apple or a graduation hat.

Where does my logo print on the seed paper bookmark?

Your art prints in full color on one side of the bookmark, so photos, gradients and brand colors all reproduce. The seeded paper shape carries no print. Leave room at the foot for the planting line, and approve a free visual proof before printing.

How far in advance should I order plantable bookmarks?

Order early enough to allow for artwork approval and production, especially for a dated campaign or seasonal planting push. Because it is a made-to-order item, lead time can vary with quantity. Request a quote to confirm current timing and a plantable sample.

Is the seed paper bookmark made in the USA?

Yes. The listing carries a Made in USA mark. Libraries, schools and public programs that prefer US-made giveaways can note that when they request a quote.

Description

This seed paper bookmark pairs a full-color printed bookmark with a wildflower seed paper shape that readers plant while they keep the bookmark. Libraries, schools and eco-minded brands hand out these wildflower seed bookmarks at book fairs and Earth Day events, with your logo and message printed across the front.

Each seeded paper shape comes in over 59 cutouts, from an apple or an airplane to a tulip or a watering can, and in 13 paper colors. That lets you match the shape to the message, such as an airplane for a travel brand. The full-color print covers one side of the 2-1/4" x 6" bookmark, and a short planting line at the foot tells readers to add water and sun. The shape itself is wildflower seed paper, so it grows wildflowers once it is planted. For a summer reading program or a book fair, it joins other library promotional items and reading incentives as a handout that ends in a garden. Each piece ships bulk packed, or in a single sleeve on request.

Pair it with Earth Day promotional products when you plan Earth Day giveaways for a campus or library table. Compared with a tear-off plantable bookmark, which holds flower or herb seeds on its lower end, this design keeps the whole bookmark and gives the planting job to a separate shape. Pick that one for a choice of seed. Pick this one when the shape tells your story. Both carry a Made in USA mark.

Send your logo, shape choice and quantity for a free, no-obligation quote. A free visual proof comes with every order, and bulk quotation is available for library systems, school districts and campus groups.
