Glossy Black Wood Piano Finish Plaque 9 x 7 Inch

An Onyx Small Plaque Award is a wall-mounted wood recognition plaque that holds an engraved or printed plate naming the recipient. Organizations order it for service milestones, sales achievement, retirement, and volunteer recognition. The plate carries all of the copy, so one plaque body works across a whole award program.

A wood plaque hangs flat on a wall, while most crystal and acrylic awards stand on a desk or shelf. The plaque decorates a separate flat plate, so text sits on one clear surface instead of reading through a curved or etched face. Crystal looks more decorative under light, but a plaque holds more lines of text and a reorder only needs new plate copy.

The vertical plate imprint area measures 4.75 inches wide by 6.75 inches high, and the horizontal plate reverses that to 6.75 inches wide by 4.75 inches high. Horizontal is the default layout. Decoration can also run on the front of the plaque, and a no-imprint blank version is available.

The plaque body is black wood sealed with a high-gloss piano lacquer finish. It is a decorative display item, not a food-contact or children's product, so FDA and CPSIA testing do not apply and no such certification is offered. The gloss coat shows fingerprints, so handle the face by its edges when you unpack it.

Yes. Laser engraving and 4 color process printing both run on the plate, and plate decoration comes in full color, custom color, or no color. Per-piece name personalization is available on top of the base decoration. A repeat order that only changes the wording carries no art charge, while a logo that needs resizing or rebuilding adds an art fee.

You can order a single plaque, and published quantity breaks fall at 1, 6, 10, and 25 pieces. Orders that fall under the standard minimum quantity add a $40 less-than-minimum charge. Exact-quantity orders carry no extra fee, so you pay for the count you need instead of rounding up.

Decorated plaques ship in 5 to 7 business days after proof approval, for both laser engraving and 4 color process. A blank plaque with no imprint ships in 1 to 3 business days. Online PDF proofs cost nothing, and transit time is added on top of production.

Black piano finish plaques go out most often for employee-of-the-year and years-of-service awards, sales club recognition, retirement presentations, donor and board appreciation, athletic banquets, and safety milestone programs. The wall format suits offices, clinics, and school hallways that keep a permanent display of honorees.

Wipe the piano finish with a dry or barely damp microfiber cloth. Skip ammonia glass cleaners, alcohol, and abrasive pads, because they dull the lacquer and can lift a printed plate. Keep the plaque out of direct sunlight and away from steady humidity, since wood moves and the gloss can haze.

Per-unit pricing runs from $83.77 at 1 piece down to $60.38 at 25 pieces, with breaks at 6 pieces ($76.23) and 10 pieces ($67.84). A one-time $50 setup applies, and an exact repeat of a previous order drops that setup to $25. Name personalization adds $7 per piece, and a split or drop shipment adds $8.50 each.
