Description
Ebony on Rosewood Piano Finish Plaque, Hangs Either Way mounts a black ebony overlay on a polished rosewood base. It ships in five sizes, from 7 by 9 inches to 12 by 15 inches. This ebony rosewood piano finish plaque suits retirement gifts, service awards and sponsor recognition for offices and athletic programs.
The two-tone finish sets this plaque apart. A black ebony overlay sits on a rosewood-toned piano finish base. The mirror-bright shine catches light on a shelf or wall. The design can be mounted either way, tall or wide, so recipients choose the orientation that fits their space. Deep etch decoration cuts the recognition text and logo into the front of the plaque. This method skips a flat printed plate for a raised, engraved surface. Human resources teams use it for retirement and service milestones. Athletic departments and sales organizations use it for sponsor and MVP recognition. Buyers who want color filled into the engraving should consider the Notched-Border Rosewood Plaque with Included Colorfill. That option adds color directly to the design instead of a single deep-etch tone. The five-size range in this wood plaque line covers small desk gifts and large boardroom presentations. The finish stays the same across every size.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ebony rosewood piano finish plaque and who typically orders it?
The ebony rosewood piano finish plaque belongs to our Wood Plaques and Awards & Recognition collections. It works well as a standalone recognition piece for a client thank-you gift or an internal award ceremony. Buyers choose it when they want a heavier wood award instead of a thin acrylic piece.
How does this ebony rosewood plaque compare with a plaque that has a full colorfill design?
The ebony rosewood piano finish plaque relies on deep etch engraving with a single infill color, so the plate reads with texture and shadow. A colorfill plaque instead fills flat color across a smooth surface without cutting into the wood. Buyers who want a raised, engraved feel over a flat printed look tend to pick the deep etch style.
What decoration methods and imprint area does the ebony rosewood piano finish plaque offer?
The ebony rosewood piano finish plaque decorates with deep etch engraving and a single color fill on the front panel. Each size pairs with its own engraving window, so the 7 by 9 inch plaque carries a 4 by 6 inch design area while the 12 by 15 inch plaque carries a 9 by 12 inch area. Location stays centered on the front face across every size.
Which recognition programs use an ebony rosewood piano finish plaque?
The ebony rosewood piano finish plaque serves community volunteer programs, alumni associations and corporate anniversary events that need a lasting recognition piece. Booster clubs also use it to thank team sponsors at the end of a season. Any organization that wants a wood award instead of a printed certificate can use this style.
What affects the price of an ebony rosewood piano finish plaque order?
The ebony rosewood piano finish plaque price depends mainly on which of the five sizes you choose, since a larger base and bigger engraving area both add material and setup work. Order quantity and how much artwork revision the design needs before approval can also change the total. We provide exact figures on a quote once size and quantity are confirmed.
Is there a minimum order quantity for the ebony rosewood piano finish plaque?
The ebony rosewood piano finish plaque has a minimum order of one, which keeps a single-recipient purchase simple. It typically takes five days to move from an approved design to a shipped box. Contact us if a faster timeline is needed for an upcoming event.
