Frequently Asked Questions
What is a two-grit emery board nail file used for?
A two-grit emery board is a nail file with one side for shaping nails and the other for finishing them, paired with a clear PVC sleeve that keeps bags free of nail residue. Salons, spas, and event organizers hand them out as branded giveaways.
What are the dimensions and imprint area of the emery board?
The emery board measures 0.75 inches wide by 6 inches long. The front imprint area is 2.75 inches wide by 0.5 inches high. The clear PVC sleeve fits the full board.
What is the emery board made of and how coarse is the grit?
The emery board is made of ABS plastic with two grit grades, 1000 and 320. The finer 1000 grit smooths and finishes a nail, while the 320 grit handles deeper shaping. The material resists breaking and chipping during use.
How can I add my logo to a promotional emery board?
A promotional emery board is decorated with single-color screen printing in one location on the front. The print area measures 2.75 inches wide by 0.5 inches high. A one-time setup charge applies per order.
What is the minimum order for custom emery boards?
The minimum order is 300 pieces. Pricing is per unit and drops at higher quantities, so see the price table on this page. A one-time setup charge applies, with a lower repeat setup charge on reorders.
How long does production take for printed emery boards?
Standard production runs 7 to 10 working days after art approval. Shipping time is added to that window. Six stock colors are in stock, so color choice does not extend the timeline.
