Acrylic awards give a company a clear, sculptural way to recognize people at a banquet, a sales kickoff or a service anniversary. This range covers obelisks, towers, stars, hemispheres, pyramids, crescents, freestanding blocks and tablets. Details differ from one style to the next, so the notes below name specific items and quote what is recorded for each one rather than making a single claim about the whole range.
Shapes and styles in this range
The range includes the Rosedale Obelisk Award in acrylic, the Greenwich Pyramid Award, the Star Tower Award and the Chisel Tower Award. Star shapes include the Nelson Star Award, the Copeland Star Award and the Custom Carved Moon and Star Achievement Award. Four dome-shaped pieces carry the Hemisphere name: Apex, Contour, Discus and Nova. Curved styles include the Promotional Acrylic Crescent (7x10), which measures 9.75 inches wide by 7 inches tall by 1 inch deep and stands on its own base.
Several styles pair acrylic with a second material. The Cornerstone Award and the Stratum Award list acrylic and aluminum. The Cascades, Terra, Jardin, Nuage, Branche, Arbuste, Falaise and Rocheaux awards list acrylic and wood. The Acrylic Diamonds Award lists acrylic, marble and stone. The Accolade Acrylic Award rests on a brushed stainless steel arched base and measures 7.75 inches wide by 8.50 inches tall by 1.50 inches deep.
Engraved acrylic awards and full color printing
Many styles here list laser engraving as a decoration option, and many also list a digital full color process for artwork that needs more than one color. The Rosedale Obelisk Award lists both, each with a 2 by 7 inch area among its listed options. The Promotional Acrylic Crescent (7x10) lists a 6.25 by 6.25 inch back area for full color and a 4.25 by 4.25 inch back area for engraving. The Bilevel Red Acrylic Award lists a 3.125 by 5.75 inch front area for either method. Two items list deep etch instead: the Acrylic Diamonds Award at 6.5 by 5.5 inches and the Campbell Award at 5 by 3.5 inches.
Imprint areas are set per product, and the same style can list a different area for each size. Check the imprint area on the page you are buying from before you send artwork.
Colors beyond clear
Some styles list colors other than clear. The Medium Star Sculpture Award lists blue, clear and gold, and measures 3 1/2 inches wide by 8 inches tall in lucite acrylic. The Freestanding Year Anniversary Award lists a clear body with a black back and measures 3 1/4 inches wide by 4 inches tall. The Bilevel Red Acrylic Award uses red acrylic with a clear plate held off the body by standoffs.
Order minimums and what the listed price covers
Minimums differ by product, so read the one on the page you are ordering. The Rosedale Obelisk Award lists a minimum of 1 piece. The Medium Star Sculpture Award lists 3. The Freestanding Year Anniversary Award lists 6. The Stackable Clear Acrylic Top Award lists 12. The Custom Shape Acrylic Award lists 250.
What the listed price covers is also stated per product. On several styles it covers one side and one location of laser engraving. On several others it covers a full color imprint on one side and one location. A few styles state two locations, and the Acrylic Diamonds Award states one side and one location of deep etching. Setup charges and quantity breaks sit in the price table on each page.
Custom shapes and stackable pieces
The Custom Shape Acrylic Award takes a shape you supply up to 4 inches wide by 5 inches tall, prints in full color, and includes a pin stand so the piece stands upright. It is made in the USA, ships in bulk packaging and lists a minimum of 250 pieces. Two stackable pieces also sit in this range: the Stackable Clear Acrylic Bar Award at 3 inches wide by 1 inch tall and the Stackable Clear Acrylic Top Award at 3 inches wide by 3 inches tall, both in lucite acrylic with a full color imprint and a minimum of 12.
Presentation packaging
Packaging is listed on the product page when the supplier supplied it. The Medium Star Sculpture Award arrives individually packaged in a standard presentation box. The Freestanding Year Anniversary Award arrives individually packaged in a 2-piece presentation box. The Acrylic Diamonds Award, the Cornerstone Award and the Greenwich Pyramid Award list a Vanguard box. The Rosedale Obelisk Award lists a white factory box. The Custom Shape Acrylic Award lists bulk packaging, which means the pieces ship loose rather than boxed one by one.
How to pick a style
Start with the recipient count and the date. If you need one or two pieces, look at styles that list a minimum of 1, such as the Rosedale Obelisk Award. If you are ordering for a room full of recipients, read the minimum and the quantity breaks in the price table on each page before you shortlist. Then decide whether your logo needs color. A one-color mark suits the styles that list laser engraving, while a logo with several colors points you to a style that lists the digital full color process.
