Frequently Asked Questions
What is a bamboo cutting board used for and who gives it away?
A bamboo cutting board is a natural wood surface for slicing, chopping, and serving food, printed or engraved with a logo. Kitchen brands, real estate agents, and closing-gift programs give it away because it looks good and lasts. Daily counter use keeps the brand in view.
What are the dimensions of this large bamboo cutting board?
The bamboo cutting board measures 8½ inches wide, 11 inches long, and ⅜ inch thick. The imprint area is 7¾ inches wide by 11⁄₁₆ inch high. The size suits both small and large prep jobs.
How should a bamboo cutting board be cleaned?
Hand washing is recommended for the bamboo cutting board to protect the wood and the imprint. Avoid soaking or running it through a dishwasher, which can warp bamboo over time. A quick wipe and dry after use keeps the grain sound.
Can a logo be laser engraved on the bamboo cutting board?
Yes. The bamboo cutting board can be laser engraved or screen printed in a 7¾ inch by 11⁄₁₆ inch front area. A setup charge applies per order.
What is the bamboo cutting board made from and is it compliant?
The cutting board is made from bamboo with a natural wood finish, and it is Prop 65 compliant. Bamboo is a dense, fast-growing grass that resists knife marks. The board is made in China.
What is the minimum order and price for custom cutting boards?
The minimum order is 100 units. Pricing is per unit and drops at higher quantities; see the price table on this page. Order size is the main factor in the unit price.
