Polyester absorbs and then releases moisture as it evaporates, which is what keeps the cloth cool against skin rather than heavy and damp the way cotton goes. The towel measures 31.5 by 12 inches unfolded, long enough to sit around the neck or wrap the head. At 0.09 pounds it disappears into a gym bag. The Alpha Polyester Fitness Towel comes in five colors and takes full-color print or silkscreen across the full length.
