7 Inch Acrylic Recognition Award with Tablet Shape

A Lucite tablet award is an upright acrylic recognition piece with a flat printed face shaped like a stone tablet. Lucite is a trade name for cast acrylic (PMMA), a rigid transparent plastic that matches the clarity of glass at roughly half the weight. The tablet format reads like a plaque, so companies use it for formal recognition rather than casual giveaways.

Clear acrylic weighs about half as much as glass or crystal and resists shattering when dropped, which cuts breakage losses in shipping and handling. Acrylic also accepts direct full-color printing, while glass and crystal awards typically limit artwork to single-tone etching or engraving. Crystal offers more weight in hand and stronger light refraction, but it costs more per piece and more to ship.

Lucite tablet awards appear most often at employee-of-the-quarter ceremonies, sales achievement banquets, retirement recognitions, service anniversary milestones, sponsor and donor thank-yous, and graduation honors. The upright plaque-style format suits programs where recipients display the piece at a workstation. A minimum run of six pieces lets small teams order for a single ceremony.

The Medium Tablet Award runs $94.45 per unit at six pieces, $82.13 at 25, $71.42 at 50, and $62.10 at 100 pieces. Order quantity is the main price factor, dropping the per-unit cost by about a third across the tiers. Beyond quantity, a flat setup charge applies to each order.

Yes, the $50 setup charge applies to reorders as well as first orders, even when the artwork stays the same. Ordering your full expected quantity in one run avoids paying the charge twice and reaches a lower price tier at the same time.

Clean the acrylic with a soft microfiber cloth and a mix of mild dish soap and lukewarm water, then dry it with a second clean cloth. Never use ammonia-based glass cleaners or abrasive pads, because ammonia clouds acrylic and abrasives scratch both the surface and the printed artwork. Between washes, dust the printed face with a dry microfiber cloth to keep the full-color logo sharp.

China is the country of origin for the Medium Tablet Award. No safety or environmental certifications are published for this item; as a solid acrylic display piece with no food contact or electronic components, it falls outside most product safety certification requirements. Request compliance documentation at quote time if your recognition program requires it.
