36 Inch Wood Yardstick with High Gloss Lacquer

A 36-inch custom yardstick offers about three times the imprint length of a standard 12-inch promotional ruler, so your message stays readable from across a room. Recipients tend to hang yardsticks in workshops, garages, and stores, which keeps the branding on display year-round, while pocket rulers usually end up in a drawer. Rulers cost less to ship and fit standard mailers, so the trade-off is portability versus display presence.

Hardware stores, lumber yards, home improvement retailers, fabric and craft shops, real estate open houses, and county fair booths order custom printed yardsticks most often. The item fits any business whose customers measure things, from contractors to quilters. It also draws steady booth traffic at trade shows and grand openings because it is a tool people actually take home and use.

A custom enameled yardstick costs between $1.53 and $2.02 per unit depending on quantity. Pricing runs $2.02 each at 250 pieces, $1.76 at 500, and $1.53 at 1,000, so larger runs lower the per-unit rate. A setup charge also applies: $60 for the same art on both sides or $120 for different art on each side. Final cost depends on your order quantity and whether you run one design or two.

Yes, setup charges apply to reorders of custom yardsticks as well as first-time orders. Budget the applicable setup fee into every run, even when your artwork stays exactly the same. Confirm the charge on your quote before placing a repeat order.

Wipe an enameled yardstick with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth to clean it. The lacquered surface sheds dust and light grime without any cleaning products. Skip abrasive pads and solvents, since they can dull the finish and wear away the black ink over time. Store the stick flat or hang it on a wall to keep it straight.

Bold, single-color line art works best on a promotional yardstick. The long, narrow imprint strip suits horizontal layouts, such as a logo followed by a company name and phone number. Avoid fine gradients and small type, because flexography reproduces solid shapes and bold text most cleanly. Simple, high-contrast art stays legible along the full length of the stick.
