How does a natural wood yardstick compare to a plastic yardstick as a promotional giveaway?

A natural wood yardstick is stiffer than a thin plastic strip, so it holds a straight edge for marking and drawing lines. Wood is also a renewable material, which suits sustainability-minded campaigns, while plastic handles moisture better in wet environments. Recipients tend to keep a working wood tool in the garage, shop, or sewing room, which extends how long the imprint stays in view.

What events and businesses use a custom natural yardstick as a giveaway?

Hardware stores, lumber yards, home improvement retailers, real estate agencies, and fabric and craft shops use custom natural yardsticks most often. The full-length format suits grand openings, contractor trade shows, home and garden expos, and county and agricultural fairs where attendees take home a working tool. Sewing and quilting shops also hand them out because the printed scale doubles as a cutting guide.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom printed yardsticks?

The minimum order quantity for custom printed yardsticks is 250 units. Quantity price breaks fall at 500 and 1,000 pieces, so most buyers size an order to one of those three levels.

How much does a natural yardstick cost per unit with a custom imprint?

A custom natural yardstick runs $0.90 to $1.20 per unit: $1.20 each at 250 pieces, $1.04 at 500, and $0.90 at 1,000. A $60.00 setup charge applies per printed side, and printing different artwork on the second side adds $40.00 to the standard setup. Setup charges apply again on re-orders. Final cost depends on quantity, the number of sides printed, and whether each side carries unique art.

How do you clean and store a wood yardstick to protect the printed markings?

Wipe a wood yardstick with a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it right away; never soak it, since wood absorbs water and can swell or warp. Store it flat or hung vertically, away from direct sunlight and high humidity, to keep the stick straight. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can wear down the printed scale and logo over time.

Does the natural yardstick carry any safety or environmental certifications?

No formal safety or environmental certifications are published for the natural yardstick. It is a plain wood product printed with flexographic ink, and its country of origin is the United States. Buyers who need compliance documentation for a specific program should request it when placing the order.
