What is a two-ply polyester lanyard best used for?

A two-ply polyester lanyard is commonly used to hold ID badges, event credentials, and access cards at conferences, schools, and workplaces. The two-ply build adds body so the strap lies flat and shows a printed logo clearly. It suits both daily staff use and large one-time events.

Can I get a two-color imprint on the 5/8" lanyard?

A one-color, front-side imprint is standard, and a two-color imprint is available upon factory approval. You can also choose a step-and-repeat or continuous print so your logo repeats along the full length of the strap. Ask the art team to confirm two-color feasibility for your specific logo.

What is a breakaway on a lanyard and do I need one?

A breakaway is a plastic safety release that lets the lanyard pop apart if it gets caught, reducing choking or snag risk. It is a smart choice for schools, factories, and anywhere lanyards are worn near equipment. On this lanyard you can add an optional breakaway at the back of the neck or the side of the strap.

What attachment options connect the badge to the lanyard?

The two ply polyester lanyards are made to order, so you select the attachment along with the material color and breakaway option. Common hardware includes swivel hooks, bulldog clips, and split rings, each suited to badges, cards, or keys. Tell the sales team what you plan to clip on so they match the right end fitting.

What colors do the lanyards made in USA come in?

The strap comes in ten colors: black, green, maroon, navy, orange, purple, red, royal, white and yellow. Pick a strap color that contrasts with your one-color imprint so the logo reads from a distance.

Are these lanyards made in the USA?

Yes, the product specifications list these lanyards as made in the USA. Schools, agencies and companies that prefer US-made goods often choose them for that reason. Ask for a quote to confirm current production timing.

How many lanyards should I order for a conference?

Order at least one per expected attendee plus extras for staff, volunteers, and walk-ins, since lanyards are usually kept, not returned. Larger quantities generally lower the per-piece price, so request a bulk quote if you run recurring events. Ordering spares also covers the next event without a rush.

Description

For buyers who need lanyards made in USA, this 5/8" strap is two-ply polyester, screen printed on the front with your logo in one color. The two-ply build gives the strap extra body, and it comes in 10 strap colors for schools, agencies and companies that prefer American-made goods on their badges.

Government agencies, school districts and employers often ask for American made lanyards, and this strap is labeled Made in USA. It runs 34" to 35" long, a standard over-the-head length. Staff wear it daily with an employee ID card, and visitors get the same strap at events. Your logo prints as a step-and-repeat pattern or a continuous line, and a second ink color is available upon factory approval. Because the imprint is one color on the front, bold logos and simple type read best. Strap colors include black, maroon, navy, royal and red among the 10 choices, so school and team colors are easy to match, even for a district-wide rollout. The sample shown prints a university name on maroon.

Pair it with other made in USA promotional products for a welcome kit, since the badge strap is the piece people wear every day. If domestic production is not a requirement, compare more 5/8 inch lanyards in other materials, or browse all custom lanyards by width and print method. Add the optional plastic safety breakaway at the back of the neck or on the side, and choose the attachment that fits your badge, such as the bulldog clip shown.

Send your logo, strap color and quantity for a free, no-obligation quote. A free visual proof comes with every order, and bulk quotation is available for district, campus or agency programs.
