Frequently Asked Questions
What is a cotton pocket oven mitt used for?
A cotton pocket oven mitt protects hands and counters from hot cookware while serving as a printed promotional gift. The sewn front pocket holds a logo and gives cooks a second layer of heat protection. Kitchen brands, grocery stores, and real estate agents hand them out at events and closings.
What sizes do the custom oven mitts come in?
The oven mitts come in three sizes. The standard mitt measures 7 inches wide by 10 inches long, the striped mitt measures 7 inches by 12 inches, and the fire-resistant mitt measures 6.5 inches by 11.5 inches. Each includes a sewn front pocket.
How much heat do the oven mitts resist?
The fire-resistant cotton oven mitt resists heat up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes. It uses an all-cotton interior with a fire-resistant silver exterior and a quilted gripping surface. The standard and striped mitts use all-cotton construction for everyday kitchen heat.
Can a cotton pocket oven mitt be printed with a company logo?
Yes. Each oven mitt takes a single-color screen print in one location on the front pocket. The imprint area reaches 4.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall on the striped mitt. Dark-color imprints reproduce best on cotton.
What is the minimum order for custom printed oven mitts?
The minimum order is 100 units for the striped mitt and 150 units for the standard and fire-resistant mitts. A one-time setup charge of $60 applies per order. Per-unit pricing drops at 250, 500, 1000, and 2500 units.
How long does production take for custom oven mitts?
Production runs 7 to 10 working days after art approval. Shipping time is added on top of production. Rush timing is not published for this item.
How much does a custom printed oven mitt cost per unit?
Custom oven mitts range from about $3.11 to $5.38 per unit depending on style and quantity. The standard mitt is the lowest-cost option, and the striped mitt is the highest. Quantity, style, and setup drive the final price.
