The bamboo base measures 6 3/4 inches wide by 6 inches high by 1 1/4 inches deep and lifts away from its slate insert to reveal storage for the included cheese fork, flat cheese knife and small spade. Bamboo grain and color vary piece to piece and between dye lots. The set meets FDA requirements, is recommended for hand washing, and carries FSC® certification confirming the bamboo comes from responsibly managed, third-party-audited forests. Decoration is tone-on-tone laser engraving with no oxidation on a 4 inch by 5/8 inch area; small text is not recommended for this method.
