Description
A serrated cutting edge is the working detail on this metal cake and pie server: the toothed blade slices cleanly through cake layers and crust without crushing the slice underneath, then the wide face lifts and serves it. The handle carries a small hanging hole, so it stows on a hook rather than rattling loose in a drawer. The server measures about 10 1/4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches, a one-handed size for a dessert table. Personalization is done by screen printing inside a 2 1/8 inch by 1/2 inch panel on the handle, which suits a name, a wedding date, or a short logo line rather than a dense block of text.
