- Moulded from thick pliable foam that does not sink in water — buoyancy is built into the body, though it varies with how many keys hang from it.
- The colour range runs to nine: Black, Blue, Gray, Green, Lime, Orange, Red, White and Yellow — enough to code groups across a large handout.
- A beaded chain is fitted ready to take keys — no split ring to add.
