How a Regional Clinic Network Used Branded Wellness Kits to Improve Patient Recall

Published

A multi-location clinic network refreshed its patient-take-home program with co-branded wellness kits — and patients took notice.

A regional multi-location clinic network came to Promotional Product Inc looking to refresh the items they handed to patients on the way out — the existing pens-and-magnets program was getting tossed before the patient got home. They wanted something patients would keep and use.

The brief

The marketing lead asked for a small wellness kit that would feel like a thoughtful patient-care touch rather than a marketing handout. Tight budget per patient, but high distribution volume across all locations.

What we suggested

We put together a pocket-sized kit with branded hand sanitizer, a small first-aid pouch, and a co-branded reusable water bottle. The bottle led the kit — it carried the clinic's logo discreetly and looked like something the patient would actually use at home or at the gym.

The result

Patient feedback called out the kit as a nice touch. The marketing team reported anecdotal lift in patient recall on follow-up calls, and the kits became a standing item in the budget rather than a one-time campaign.
