Bamboo Pen with Plunger Action and Low Viscosity Ink

A bamboo promotional pen is a ballpoint writing instrument with a barrel made from natural bamboo and printed with a company logo. Companies choose bamboo pens to pair an everyday giveaway with a visible sustainability message, since bamboo is a fast-growing, renewable plant. Recipients keep a working pen in daily rotation, which extends logo exposure well past the event where it was handed out.

A bamboo pen replaces the molded plastic barrel with a natural, renewable plant material while keeping the same ballpoint writing mechanism inside. Bamboo shows visible grain and has a warm, matte feel in the hand, while plastic delivers uniform color from piece to piece. Plastic pens usually cost less per unit, but bamboo signals an environmental commitment that plastic cannot, which suits brands promoting sustainability.

Custom bamboo pens fit best at sustainability-focused events such as Earth Day promotions, green business expos, and environmental nonprofit fundraisers. They also work well at trade shows, university recruiting fairs, hotel and eco-resort front desks, and in corporate onboarding kits where a natural-material giveaway supports the brand story. Because each one is a functional ballpoint, the pens stay in use long after the event ends.

The minimum order quantity for the Anderson Sleek Write Bamboo Pen is 250 pieces. Published quantity tiers run at 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 pieces, and the per-unit price drops at each step, reaching its lowest published rate at the 5,000-piece tier.

A custom bamboo pen with a one-color logo costs between $0.79 and $1.39 per unit depending on quantity. Pricing runs $1.39 each at 250 pieces, $1.21 at 500, $1.05 at 1,000, $0.91 at 2,500, and $0.79 at 5,000. A one-time $40.00 setup charge applies to new orders and drops to $25.00 on re-orders. Total cost also depends on whether you add the optional custom pen tube, which adds $0.71 per piece plus a separate $40.00 setup charge.

No formal environmental or safety certifications are published for the Anderson Sleek Write Bamboo Pen. The barrel is genuine natural bamboo rather than a bamboo-look plastic, and the pen is manufactured in China. Buyers who need compliance documentation for a specific program should request it before ordering so we can confirm what is available.

Wipe the bamboo pen barrel with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep it away from prolonged moisture. Bamboo is a natural material that can swell or discolor if soaked, so do not run the pen under water or leave it in a wet bag. When the ink runs dry, swap in a standard black medium-point refill instead of discarding the pen.
