Antimicrobial Pen 5.5 Inch with Plunger Action

The antimicrobial additive inhibits microbial growth on the pen's own surface, protecting the product from degradation. The additive is blended into the pen material at manufacture rather than applied as a coating afterward. The feature is product protection only and carries no health or medical claim.

An antimicrobial pen builds a protective additive into the pen body itself, while a standard promotional pen has no such product protection. Writing performance is the same, since both styles use a click mechanism and a common black ballpoint refill. The additive gives the pen a cleanliness story for shared-use settings without changing how it writes or how it is decorated.

The minimum order is 250 pens, which is the lowest published quantity break. Reorders qualify for a reduced $25 setup charge instead of the full new-order setup fee. The optional custom pen tube also carries its own 250-piece minimum.

Per-unit pricing runs from $1.23 at 250 pens down to $0.70 at 5,000 pens, with quantity breaks at 500, 1,000, and 2,500 pieces. Quantity, imprint method, and the number of imprint colors drive the final price. Silk-screen setup costs $40 per color, and each extra silk-screen color adds $0.25 per pen. Digibrite setup costs $50, and the full-color Digibrite option adds $0.30 per pen.

Antimicrobial pens are ordered most often for healthcare clinics, pharmacies, dental offices, banks, hotels, and trade show giveaways. They suit any setting where many people share one pen, such as reception desks, sign-in counters, and checkout lines. The product-protection additive supports a cleanliness message in these settings without making a medical claim.

No health-agency certifications or antimicrobial registrations are published for this pen. The additive protects the pen itself, so the product makes no user-protection claim that would require certification. The pen is manufactured in China, and we can answer documentation questions when you request a quote.

Wipe the barrel with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, and avoid solvents or abrasives that can lift a silk-screen imprint. Because the antimicrobial additive is blended into the pen material rather than coated on, routine wiping does not remove it.

Yes, individual personalization is available through the Digibrite process, so each pen in a run can carry a unique name. Personalization adds a $100 setup charge plus $0.30 per pen on top of the standard Digibrite run charge. The personalization setup charge applies again on reorders.
