Frequently Asked Questions
What is an accordion fan and when do people hand them out?
An accordion fan is a folding hand fan that expands into a wide pleated blade and closes back up for storage. Event planners hand them out at outdoor weddings, summer festivals, sports games, parades and trade show booths. The pleated panel gives your logo a visible surface when someone waves it.
How does an accordion fan compare with a flat handheld paper fan?
An accordion fan folds into the handle, so it fits in a pocket or bag, while a flat fan stays one size. The folding design also protects the blade between uses. That makes it easier to carry around a crowded event.
Can I get a custom accordion fan printed with my company logo?
Yes, we decorate this fan by pad printing on the handle side. The imprint area is 1.25 by 0.31 inches, so a short logo or a business name fits best. We send a free digital proof before production starts.
Which colours does the custom accordion fan come in?
The custom accordion fan is available in 4 colours: white, black, red and blue. Pick one that matches your brand or your event theme. Mixing colours across a giveaway is possible, so ask us about splitting a quantity.
What is the minimum order for a branded accordion fan and what are the quantity tiers?
The minimum order for a branded accordion fan is 200 fans. Tiers step up at 400, 800 and 1600 fans. Larger tiers bring the cost of each fan down.
What affects the price of a bulk accordion fan order?
The price of a bulk accordion fan order depends on the quantity tier you reach, the imprint colour you choose and any setup involved. Moving to the next tier is the easiest way to lower the total. Send us your target quantity and we will return a quote.
How should I store and carry accordion fans for a large giveaway?
Accordion fans close to a slim 9 inches wide, so they pack flat in boxes and stack on a booth table. Opened, each one spans 17 inches. Keep them closed in a dry spot until the event and unfold them on the day.
