Each ruler is manufactured with an EPA registered antimicrobial and or antibacterial additive incorporated directly into the plastic or lacquer. This technology suppresses the growth of bacteria on the product’s surface and neutralizes over 99 percent of active bacteria on the surface. The additive is built in during manufacturing and will not wear off, remaining effective for the life of the product.
