Key Features
- Built from beech wood, the frame stands 34.5 inches tall, 21.62 inches wide and 19.5 inches deep — dimensions to check against the floor space it needs.
- Chalkboard inserts are polypropylene and slide into grooves at the top of the frame — two artwork decals ship pre-applied to the boards.
- Galvanized steel hinges let the frame fold flat for storage — a steel chain stops it from opening past a stable angle.
- Liquid chalk markers are the recommended tool for this chalkboard rather than traditional chalk — neither ships with the kit.
- Frame color is light brown — the assembled unit weighs 12.9 lb with a 15 lb shipping carton.
- Rated to Beaufort wind scale 2 — the warranty splits between 1 year on the hardware and 1 year indoor / 30 days outdoor on the graphic.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a quick change wood A-frame chalkboard kit used for?
The 34" Quick Change Wood A-Frame Chalkboard Kit is a freestanding beech wood sign that holds swap-in chalkboard inserts. Shops, cafes, classrooms and event hosts set it on a sidewalk or entrance to show menus, specials or directions. Changing the message means changing the board, not rebuilding the sign.
Can an A-frame chalkboard be decorated with a company logo?
Yes, this A-frame chalkboard kit is decorated by screen printing. We send a free digital proof before production so you can approve the artwork placement first.
What is the minimum order for a custom A-frame chalkboard?
The minimum order for this A-frame chalkboard is 1 kit, so a single sign for one storefront or room is possible. A larger quantity is not required to start an order.
How does a wood A-frame chalkboard compare to a printed banner stand?
A wood A-frame chalkboard lets staff write a new message whenever the day's offer changes, while a printed banner shows one fixed message. The wood frame also stands on its own without a base that needs weight or water. A banner stand packs smaller, so choose by how often the message changes.
Where can a quick change chalkboard sign be used at events?
A quick change chalkboard sign works at wedding welcome areas, school open houses, trade show aisles and restaurant patios. Place it near a doorway or walkway so guests see the message as they approach. Swapping the board between sessions keeps one frame useful across a whole event day.
What affects the price of custom A-frame chalkboard kits?
The price of custom A-frame chalkboard kits depends on the order quantity, the decoration method and any setup charge. The number of ink colours in the artwork can also change the total. Contact us with your quantity and artwork for an exact quote.
