Description
Thoreau rPET Journal turns melted-down recycled plastic bottles into an 80-page lined cover, a fit for a sustainability-focused client gift or a conference giveaway tied to an environmental campaign this quarter.
The cover combines rPET and polyester made from post-consumer recycled materials, created by melting down plastic bottles into new polyester fiber; the inner sheets, pen loop, strap closure, and bookmark are not rPET fiber. It comes in black, gray, navy, red, royal blue, or white, each paired with black trim, and includes a matching bookmark, strap closure, and elastic pen loop. It measures 5 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/4 inches high. The front cover takes a standard silk-screen or Digibrite imprint at 4 inches wide by 3 inches high in one color, with Digibrite upgradable to full color; an optional inside-cover pad-print adds a second position at 3 inches by 3 inches, up to two colors. An optional custom full-color band adds a 4-color process imprint on one side, applied to the journal, with 10 days production time after proof approval. Journals carry FSC® certification, ship in bulk, 50 per case at 29 pounds, and Thoreau rPET Journal is made in China.
