The Scribe 8.5 Inch LCD Writing Tablet is a reusable, paperless electronic memo board designed for note-taking, sketching, and quick reminders at a desk or on a refrigerator door. Its pressure-sensitive LCD surface draws lines of varying thickness and erases instantly at the push of a button.
Built from an ultra-thin, lightweight LCD panel, the writing surface measures 6 inches by 9.25 inches by 0.25 inch thick, light enough to carry in a bag without added bulk. Dual magnets on the back panel mount the tablet to a metal surface, and the stylus doubles as a table-top stand by sliding through a hole at the base of the unit. An anti-erasure lock keeps notes on screen until a front-button press clears them, and the stylus snaps into a storage slot on the tablet body between uses. 1 replaceable button battery ships already inserted, and the device carries FCC certification. The background writing surface comes in 1 color only. Pad printing on the front top area holds up to 3 colors across a 3.5 inch by 0.5 inch space, and an alternate front top area holds up to 6 colors across a 2.5 inch by 0.5 inch space; pad-printed orders take 7 to 9 business days. Full-color digital printing is also available, running 3 to 5 business days; the front top area accepts a 5.25 inch by 0.5 inch print with personalization available, and an edge-to-edge front top area accepts a 5.44 inch by 0.875 inch print with no personalization option. The Scribe 8.5 Inch LCD Writing Tablet meets CPSIA, ASTM, and Prop 65 compliance standards and ships in an FSC brown box with instructions, 50 units per carton at 27 lbs, in a carton measuring 15 inches by 14 inches by 13 inches.
